Elkface woke from his dream, memory of it foggy. He stretched his large paws out before himself with a yawn. Twitching his ears he pondered what his dream may have been for a moment. With nothing coming back to him, he scanned the den briefly. Larkspring caught his eye, but he made no effort for a hello or anything. The tom was used to being a loner, and quite good at protecting that space. However, it was beginning to hurt, being so alone. The more he took moments like this upon waking, his legs now loafed underneath him, the more he felt the way he had been living his life wasn't really all that great. New desires for connection were beginning to pull at him. Often he would fight these urges though, for he wouldn't even know where to begin. It was a miracle that he'd even taken a moment to scan the den. @Littlesun0112

Larkspring twitched their ear irritably. Some fur ball or whatever kept staring at him. It was... unsettling, and unsettling was probably an understatement. They whipped their eyes around, settling upon Elkface's figure. "Ya gonna talk or something? Or let me sleep?" The insomniac forced their face into a smile. Cats cats cats. I wish I were a rock. Then every cat would leave me alone.

Elkface quickly looked away and flattened his ears. So much for that. He got up and left the den.
