Spiritedleap padded up to the border, sniffing the scent of the other clan that shared the area was with, her green eyes and ears alert for any odd sights and sounds. They had decided their patrol would meet at the border to start, so here she was, awaiting her clanmates so she could lead them on a safe patrol.

It was still in the woods as she walked the territory of her soon to be old clan...”If I went to thunderclan i’d have lived in all the clans...” she chuckled to herself before she had paused, she stared ahead...this was it...

Lilysnap stepped slowly into riverclan territory, she stood still and stared down at her paws now...she wasn’t second guessing, she just felt weird...awkward to say the least...the memory of crossing this border as a kit with fawnsqueak played in her mind...she snowy white ground the, cold...she shivered before she snapped back into reality...into the lush green present..

Jaws parted in a light yawn as Lionstar neared the border, placing scent markers around the boundary until a faintly familiar russet-toned pelt caught his attention. Hmm, this felt like a moment of deja vu he didn't quite understand but he DID understand a ShadowClanner had just crossed the river onto his land. How annoying!

"If you value your pelt," he spoke coldly as he approached the trespasser, "I suggest returning to the swamp."

Lilysnap flinched slightly, she was paralyzed again...she stared at him...she felt a lump rise and her throat and in just a few heart beats she sat down as tears stared rolling down her cheeks, she was softly crying now and sniffling.

The russet molly looked up at him with big pleading eyes...as if was a lost kit in the woods, ”I wanna come home! Please I just want to come home!” she tried not to choke on her woods, she hadn’t cried in so long...why was she crying now? Why was she acting like this? She felt lost and helpless...she had been through so much....she just wanted...to come home.

Oh, it was that one. "Ah, Cherrykit." The WindClanner probably wasn't a kit anymore, but who knew at this point. Cats were demoted and promoted as fast as ripples in water. "I thought your home was in WindClan." Lionstar wasn't necessarily dismissing her, not yet - he wanted to give her a chance to.. well, stop crying and explain herself! "Why.. do you reek like the backend of a frog?"

A small snarl grew on her muzzle when he asked that, she had finally stopped crying and got somewhat embarrassed, ”I...got exiled after an apprentice was caught flirting with me...it wasn’t really my fault...but twilightstar didn’t want to listen..so I went to shadowclan.” her ears perked when she mentioned shadowclan, “Lionstar! Icestar is dead and her wicked daughter dawnstripe is leader now! That’s why I left...she is insane...and even laughed at her clans grief panic and chaos..” she said with small hiss in her voice, “I understand where I went wrong as a kit...but I’m older now...I just want to come home...getting exiled from riverclan...led to a lot of trauma..and I just want to leave peaceful..I feel like I’ll get that here..”

As much as she wanted to talk about her problems more and her home, she knew that dawnstripe was no good at all. “I think dawnstripe might try to start a fight with riverclan...” she didn’t know for sure...but she had a feeling...the leader was a psychopath...

There was something fishy about her explanation with the WindClan exile. Lionstar tried to rack his mind with the past Gatherings - if anything had been announced, but nothing came to mind. "I sincerely doubt you would have been exiled if you were not at fault in some way." Twilightstar seemed similar to him - if she wasn't certain of their guilt, she wouldn't act upon it.

Apprentice romance aside, he was intrigued by this turn of events. Licebrains, dead? He knew she was an easy kill, but this almost sounded like some sort of.. fiction. "So the brute's dead," he said slowly, a little skeptically. "If that's true, then how'd she die?" Maybe Cherrykit could come up with some fun causes of death.

Lilysnap was a little upset, she could tell he wasn’t really believing her. ”during a meeting Icestar was announcing a new deputy...I didn’t really care all that much since I had recently got there, but I did take a mental note that she wa shooting hailstorm these....looks...she seemed to be rubbing it in her face when she promoted dawnstripe...hailstorm then lashed out and in a fury of claws and screeches hailstorm managed to get her jaws on icestars throat before they both went tumbling down. Icestar landed on her back and ended up breaking her back..” the memory was painful to say the least, but it was the truth that She had to face..again..
