Shrikehail returned to camp after an interesting run-in with a ShadowClan cat at the border. Rookflare had been a glaring contradiction to the usual ShadowClan personality, and he had Shrikehail intrigued, to say the least. He wouldn’t mind talking to him again, though he wouldn’t intentionally seek him out, for fear of breaking the Warrior Code.
He shook grass and leaves out of his fur from his time in the forest and sat down by a clump of ferns to look over the camp. It was a nice day, considering the time of year. He pinned down his tail and began picking out a tangled bit of fur, as he took pride in his appearance, and he didn’t like looking scruffy.

Border patrol, herb patrol, herb patrol. Training. She had been a busybody for some time, and with a chance to relax and loosen up, she was doing just that. The black and white warrior was sprawled on her back, legs in the air and her throat exposed as she napped. Her tongue stuck out a little, and if it wasn't for the occasional, bellowing snore, any cat could assume the black and white she-cat had keeled over, dead and gone.
It just so happened that she was napping openly close to the ferns where Shrikehail had chosen to groom himself, and she snorted away when a leaf landed on her nose, tickling her back to wakefulness. With a massive yawn, she flung her legs heavily to the side in which she saw company, and with bright eyes, she chirped, "Howdy there! Shrikehail, was it? Did ya have a nice walk? You look like you did." Despite napping so heavily, she was chattering away like she hadn't been just snoring like a total badger.

Shrikehail arched a curious eyebrow at his clanmate who’d woken up to talk to him. She seemed quite chatty, not that he minded chatty.
He pulled out the tangle with finality and let it drop beside him, “Oh, yes, I did,” He nodded, though his voice was, as ever, a rather monotone deadpan. His mannerisms and speech tended to throw people off, despite the fact that it was something he couldn’t really help. He couldn’t help but hope that Skunkstrike understood that, because he didn’t want to make her think he was uninterested in the conversation, “It was very quiet out in the forest, it gave me time to think and reflect,” He added, “I do wish I’d come across some prey while I was out there, StarClan knows we need it, but-“ He shrugs, ”-I digress.”
He used phrases like ‘StarClan knows’ out of nothing more than habit. While he did admit that there was a very high probability of StarClan existing, he wasn’t as devout as some of his clanmates. Whenever he mentioned the afterlife, it was merely for conversational purposes.

The young mollys ears pricked as her name was called. Curiously, she looked at Eggbite, tipping her head when he asked his question. Handling Daylightpaw's assesment? Sure, she could try that.. she gave him a quick nod. "Yeah, can do that!" Though she herself didn't have much experience, training her two apprentices had been fun and she still remembered how her assesment had worked. Just a brief rundown of all the skills needed to become a ThunderClan warrior. She was sure she could handle that.

Hm, this was new. Now his attention was piqued, eyes now on the Warrior who was speaking to him. Taking a second to properly think about it all before nodding his head. "I agree with that plan, the Haggard Ruins was a mess, many injured when there was no need, one died I believe." a pause as he recalled the absolute chaos that was their former home.
"If you're able, you have my support. But I don't want this to be half finished, I don't want minimal effort in this I want all your effort, as well as those who volunteer. This isn't a fun event...lives are on the line and kit's are easy to mold and fool." he said, his tone taught and his gaze narrowed.
"But...good lookin out and tossin the idea out in the first place." a rare compliment, something the deputy didn't often hand out.
At the deputy's response, Drizzlenight nodded profusely. "Of course, of course. It would be well-thought-out and carefully executed. We can't afford stupid mistakes and bad decisions when so many lives are on the line. A bad plan is as bad as no plan. Thank you for considering it." With a respectful nod, the warrior left Spiderthroat to whatever he'd been doing prior to their conversation.

Sproutfleck stood up, tired of sitting down.
He immediately spotted Sunglow, across the clearing from
him. The tom couldn't avoid a wave of sympathy. Did
he think she deserved what she got? Well, he wasn't
sure, but probably. With a sigh, he padded over and
sat beside her silently, watching the clouds. "They're
rather pretty, aren't they?" He said softly, endlessly
fond of watching the white puffballs drift lazily across
the sky. "Clouds just keep drifting along, always."
He silently told himself he wasn't guarding her.

Sunglow
ThunderClan Warrior - 33 Moons

Sunglow lifted her head as Sproutfleck sat down beside her.
She gave a nod. ''They are..''
The pretty golden she-cat lay her head on her paws, lost in thought.
Sunglow was thinking about leaving ThunderClan altogether. It just...
It seemed right to her. No one wants her around, anyway. Especially not Bumblestar.
A heavy sigh escaped the warrior, her amber eyes glistening thickly with emotion.

Sproutfleck bent down to look at the warrior's
face. "Hey, don't be sad, alright? It's only for a half-moon,
you'll be alright." he said in an attempt to be cheerful,
and then looked back up at the clouds again. "Sometimes,
Sunglow, I wish I were a cloud. Drifting away without worry,
and without struggle, just calmness and wondering where
the breeze will take me." his green gaze stared unwaveringly
upward. "But I always remind myself it'd be so awful up
there, so alone, and so empty and boring. Nothing but other
clouds, so close yet so far away, in a blank and empty place."
He closed his eyes for a moment, and sighed. "I Don't know, I'm
not good at talking. But... I don't know, you matter to this
clan, I guess. I know I don't know you all that well, but there's some
cat out there- other than just me- who care about you and what
happens to you. Nobody wants anything bad to go on to anyone,
got that? Bumblestar's doing what she thinks is best."
Sproutfleck's gaze flicked to the cat beside him. "Isn't that
what we're all doing? Just doing our best, trying to make
our own way while plowing the path for those who
come after us?" He then let out another sigh, and said, "I'm kind of silly, aren't I? Haha... I'll go now, then, I guess.
Maybe that helped or something, I don't know. Whatever. But...
nevermind." Talking sucked. He turned and started slowly
walking away, thinking about the clouds again. She obviously
hadn't really been listening- or maybe she was, whatever. If
she wanted to keep talking, she would call him back over, no
big deal.
But she wouldn't. There was a tug in his gut that told him that,
and his idiot self decided to ignore it. He had no friends, but that
didn't matter. Just him, the clouds, and the chance to become a
loyal warrior. He wanted- no, needed- no more. ThunderClan was
his home. Done.

She glanced around camp, taking in the scenery in front of her, and the
busy cats and dens that surrounded the camp. Things were getting better, calmer. It put her at ease, even though she knew there were still things to be done.
She dipped her head down and licked the pads of her paw before sighing and getting up. Her curtain-like tails' tip swayed
from side to side as she looked around the camp once more, as if pondering on what she was going to do next. There wasn't much right now that she was willing to do at this time of day, so it
left her options short. She huffed and sat back down.
Forestpaw looks around for her new mentor; she spots them in the clearing, she pads up to them "Hi Mudhound" she meowed excitedly, "Can we go train?" she asked curiously, she wasn't sure how friendly they were, hence she decided to quite down so they could reply.
(Hi! I don't know Mudhounds pronouns, so if you can please let me know in your post)
