Falconfeather stepped out into the cool shade of the Shadowclan clearing and smiled. Today was a new day and she was ready to do something good. He licked some toad juices off his lips. He rarely ever saw this warrior around camp. What did she want from him? Oh, maybe she had a message... from Dawnstar! Warriors probably got to talk to Dawnstar a lot!

Falconfeather tilted her head, "Why would Dawntsar have sent me? I'm not important." She then remembered why she was over there and leaned closer, "Of course, you are veryimportant." She hoped that it would please him, "Dawnstar's a wonderful leader, wouldn't you say?"

Yeah! I'm amazing! And Dawnstar too! I'm going to be exactly like Dawnstar when I'm big!
The kit was already pretty large for his age. His paws were huge. He had a lot of room to grow into them.

Falconfeather looked him up and down. When he's older, he'll be a force to be reckoned with. Perfect for Shadowclan. She grinned, Thunderclan better watch out. "Who do you want to be your mentor?"

Bonekit had to pause and think about that one for a minute.
Maybe Frogfang or Tigerfang... I don't really know.
Bonekit hadn't even taken the time to properly learn half the warriors names. He was always so busy with finding out which kits were weak that knowing the names of his superiors was never on the table.

Falconfeather nodded, "They're both quite smart." She looked at him and realized he had no idea who she was. Sighing, she meowed, "My name is Falconfeather. You should learn the names of more of the warriors. That way, they will all want to you as an apprentice." She paused for a moment before adding, "Dawnstar would certainly notice a kit that everyone seems to like."
