a slender yet extremely muscular dark blue and black she cat with white star like spots and unnaturally large fangs and claws. Her left side of her face is torn and eyeless and has multiple large scars across her back.
ear flicked in slight interest as the she cat was pulled out of her daze and back into reality. Elmshadow had practically saved her life after the fox attack and she deemed it noteworthy to thank him and repay him in any way she could. With a curt nod she turned around to look for the two new cats she would introduce herself to soon. Swiftgrass, ivorypaw please come here we’ve got a herb patrol to do. I expect it to be done swiftly and if you’re lucky we will get it done quickly.

Paws shuffling, Sweetbriar hurried over to where she'd spotted Bluepaw's head among the crowd of ShadowClanners. See, Sweetbriar had gotten slightly held up -- she'd momentarily thought she'd seen... a friend. A friend, who was long-since dead. But it had just been someone else, and by the time Sweetbriar had made her way over to where she could have sworn Bluepaw was standing, the apprentice was oddly gone. The heck?? Frustrated, Sweetbriar traced the apprentice's scent -- out of camp! Stars, apprentices these days! The didn't follow the rules, nor did they have any patience.
Growling unhappily under her breath, Sweetbriar prowled after Bluepaw's scent and out of camp.

Report to Elmshadow in this thread with the number of each herb and links to the herbs collected. Realistically, no single cat should be able to carry more than 5 herbs - obvious exception for OCs with The Collector purrk.
Every character reports their own herbs unless stated by the patrol lead.[/B] **Returning empty-handed could result in IC punishment!

**Elmshadow**
He pushed his mind back into what had to be done. He’d just recently sent out an herb patrol but things were shifting and he needed to keep his mind focused. It’d been days since he’d last seen his mate and when he allowed himself to think about it he found himself growing concerned. He’d tracked Cougarivy’s scent a ways but then it got muddled with the rain and ever-shifting forest movements. He’d returned a couple times since but had less luck with his future excursions. The enforcer was a strong warrior and he had to believe that wherever Cougarivy was it was where she wanted to be or she’d find a way to return. In the meantime, it’d do nobody any good for him to neglect his priority and his duty to the clan. So he turned to more patrols to stock up the herb supplies for leafbare.
[ @Catherine @TawnyNeedsACoffee @Nixey ] ”Thrushbriar, Cherrysmoke, and Ibispaw. Look for daisies and lavender at the mourning ruins. The daisies will be small white-petaled flowers with yellow centers and lavender are purple and have a strong scent.”
[ @FrostyGalaxy @Songflame @The Cannibal ] ”Slugbelly, Darkflame, and Thornpaw pick up rosemary and lady’s mantle from the territory. Rosemary is a tall piney bush, with upwards growing shoots and lady’s mantle is a round shrub with broad, round leaves and clusters of yellow flowers at the tops.”
[ @silver. @KittyKombat7860 ] ”Snowecho and Aspenblaze. Go to the icy heartlands and keep your head up for honey combs. You’ll have to climb a tree once you spot a hive and knock down what you can. Try not to get stung too bad.”

Allowing himself to feel hopeful that these patrols wouldn’t disappoint, as there was growing less and less season for many of these herbs, Elmshadow turned himself and headed out of camp for his own solitary patrol.
Herbs must be listed and linked individually by every patrol member, unless specified by the patrol leader. Failure to report herbs will be considered a no report.

The calico molly found herself wondering over to her patrol mates, giving a sleight nod to Thrushbriar in greeting. Herb patrol was a pretty enjoyable task, although it could be tedious trying to discern which medicinal her was which at times. She stood by awaiting to get this show on the road. She certainly would like to get this over and done with.

An herb patrol? It's been some time since Slugbelly had been assigned to one, though he assumes that's probably just because of extenuating circumstances. What those specific circumstances are is beyond him but that doesn't really matter now, does it? Either way, he's on an herb patrol now!!Rosemary and lady's mantle, huh? Sure, sounds easy!! Hopefully they're hardy plants considering the frosts that he's woken up to recently. Everything around them is dying, and some of these herbs, he knows, are particularly temperamental. With a large, goofy smile at Elmshadow, the ginger tom looks around for his companions... Darksong and Thornpaw... he doesn't think he's spoken to either of them so this should be fun! New friends were always welcome to make.

Perking at the call of her name, Ibispaw felt a small tingle of excitement at the idea of her first patrol. Hurriedly rising to her paws, she made her way over towards the two cats she believed to be her patrol partners, and nodded at them in greeting. She didn’t exactly like being last but she still got here.
