Goldeneye smiled, "They prefer it that way," he said. He didn't mind that Daypaw preferred They/them pronouns. If they didn't want to be referred to as a she-cat or tom, he was fine with that. He knew that some other cats were mean to Daypaw for that, but those cats probably had something coming for them. Hearing the kittypet perk up a bit, Golden looked at her, "I don't know, where do they?" He asked. It seemed like a slightly cruel joke when they were in Riverclan, but he couldn't say he hadn't made fun of the other clans when he was about Lucky's age, so he was willing to let it slide for now. However, that kind of humor would probably not be allowed in the camp or allowed when with Riverclan cats, since, well, it was rude! But for now, he was going to let it slide, just to have a little fun for now.

"They hunt by the PAW-nd," Lucky finished, giggling to herself, "Get it? Because apprentice names all end with paw? and Riverclan likes water?" Lucky explained, her tail twitching from amusement at her own joke as Goldeneye began to close in on the Riverclan camp.

Mintpaw gently placed her paw on Lynxpaw's side. "Shh... Shh... You'll be alright, just don't hope around too much..."

Goldeneye resisted the urge to snort. That actually was a pretty good joke to be honest. "Good one," he said, smiling. Trying not to laugh too loud, since he was deputy and he must look responsible and all that good crap. He remembered telling jokes when he was an apprentice, and often being told that he was offensive, and, while that did discourage him slightly, he still did it anyways. Seeing that they were at Riverclan camp now, he looked at the she-cat. "Now, let's get you to Daypaw," he said calmly, smiling slightly

Sunbreeze smiled kindly as she felt the tortishell feline slip up besides her. She gave her new companion a fri newly pur and turned her bright blue e Es to Slatesky. "Hello Slatesky." She mewed in a friendly greeting. "Yes I would love some company. The more the merrier." She said with a small laugh. "I was just about to head down the river to look for some fish." She continued on, matching pace with the feline. She padded on, following the bends and twists of the river. "It's very beautiful out today, don't you think Slatesky?" She asked, just hoping for some small talk. Anything involving older cats, sure talking with kits could be fun and interesting bit she needed some more sensible and real talk.

Slatesky smiled back at Sunsplash, her sky-blue eyes bright. She laughed along with the ginger-and-white molly at her comment, and nodded about fishing. "The deeper part, or the shallow part?" the tortoiseshell asked, referring to the river. She followed Sunsplash around the curves of the river, smiling softly to herself at the noise the running water made. She nodded at Sunsplash when she spoke. "It is. Great weather for hunting," Slatesky responded, flicking her tail happily. "I love RiverClan's territory."

Lucky purred her agreement, glad to be steps away from rest and to have made yet another new friend.
