It worked...it was exhausted, clearly, Stonemask could get a killing blow but...no he couldn't. The gray tom was exhausted himself, he felt as if he'd pass out any moment, everything was spinning, blurred, nothing made sense.

Even though the apprentice tried to taunt him, Stonemask backed down, neither of them could win this fight, so it was better that they both lost, he didn't believe the mutt wanted to go home, and was just out for murder, but he backed away, surely it was a sign of defeat...right?

To Stonemask, this wasn't mercy, it was staying alive, survival. He'd gotten good damage anyway, the apprentice would definitly have to go to the medicine cat after this, so...he had that going for him, right? He did what he had to do, right?

Oh Starclan, just let this battle end.

falling on the ground with a big boom, beargrowl pushed himself up. this windclanners insult almost amused him, he probably would've laughed if he didn't have to dodge her attack. these bunnies and aiming for throats! "you rabbits got too much confidence 'n no brains!" the senior warrior grunted out.

his eyes landed on her tail, lurching forward to try and clamp his jaws on her tail. if he succeeded, he'd try to swing her to the left of him by her tail as a way to knock her off balance.

Crowtooth did not give a single piece of rabbit dung what this cat was smiling about or what he was saying and so he didnt bother to process (if he even could) the sounds in his ringing tinged hearing. No the fact that egotistical cat lunged was more then enough and the tunnelers preferred words anyway because now this tom invited the beating Crowtooth was going to give him anyway. Grimhounds lashed out paw and opening move was taken for the offer it was (though not in the manner intended) as as soon as it got into range Crowtooth lunged at the paw fangs bared in an attempt to grab the limb with a snap. Land a few cuts and get your paw grabbed or pull back on the strike you egotistical psychopath. That wasnt the end as not wasting a moment the skunk striped tom threw himself forward both front paws raiding to strike as many vicious hooking clawed strikes as possible while he (potentially) had the paw captured and immobilized. Even if he didnt manage to grab a limb the brutal flurry of blows was still damaging if they connected with the reared warrior putting all his weight and considerable strength into them and hooking his claws on the pullback every time.

Underhanded cruel move that made wounds harder to close? Maybe. Did Crowtooth care? Not in the slightest, he and windclan walked in the light of starclan and this cat was as dark as sin.

Smart bunny. Grimhound saw the glint of fangs almost immediately and sucked his claw back to his body, a snort of laughter coming from him. So this one had brains - or perhaps it was all just shrouded in the bloodthirsty rage that clearly engulfed him. Anger on the battlefield was a distraction - sure, it helped. But more often than not it blinded, and the hound preferred to approach the art of fighting with a more... comedic approach.

The snort of laughter quickly turned into a mix of howling and hissing as Crowtooths blows landed, each swipe tearing out chunks from Grimhound, fur and flesh alike. ”At least one of you cowards can fight!” he roared, leaping backwards and away from the striking claws. Oh this would be fun.

Baring his fangs the hound lunged forward, this time making a dive for Crowtooth’s right side. Twisting his body, Grimhound firmly planted his hind legs in the ground as he reared up, sharp talons come for the WindClan warrior;s muzzle and shoulder. They were on a mission to rip into the tom before Grimhound would slam himself forward, attempting to use his weight to knock Crowtooth backwards.

Yes! Sinking his claws into his enemies flesh, Shrewstep could see Rookpaw biting at the warrior’s tail. But then the toms legs flew out, and Shrewstep let out a strangled cry. Had he hit Rookpaw? He couldn’t tell, almost in the same motion the tom rolled, catching him beneath his bulk. WHY did he always end up fighting the big cats? Couldn’t he find a nice small one?

The larger tom spun while he lay on the ground, feeling a bit like something squashed on the thunder path. Shrewstep twisted his neck sideways to avoid the paw heading towards it, but the paw coming for his tail snuck up on him. Yowling angrily as his already pained tail was ground into the dirt he kicked out with his hind legs, hoping to batter at the tom with his hind claws. He also twisted his unpinned head, jaws snapping as he did his best to clamp them around the paw that had missed his neck. @TheNyanCatMinecart @Shade.

Wolfwhisper was wholeheartedly convinced he was going to die in this moment. The dogs didn't hurt him too bad and he still had escaped. The only reason he was so fearful was because he knew they had the ability to kill him -- the intent to. Now? Crowtooth clearly had no mercy for Wolfwhisper as he tore at his pelt. Would his death even be noticed?

And then the warrior escaped with a leap of relief. Blood trickled down his body and his breathing was ragged. If this didn't end soon, his future wasn't looking so bright. Thankfully, Wolfwhisper's blows landed on Crowtooth but it wasn't slowing him down -- the realization hit him suddenly. "You're crazy, " He said breathlessly, and that seemed to give him more confidence. Wolfwhisper was fighting with a maniac and he refused to die here. As Crowtooth leaned in, he leaned away -- moving away desperately. Still a sudden head clashed against him, upper cutting the tom. A yelp escaped from Wolfwhisper as he staggered, temporarily dazed. His side and face was open. His teeth had sank into his tongue and blood filled his mouth. He spat it out, his gaze flipping back to Crowtooth.

Wolfwhisper made to stay away from those snapping teeth as he threw himself at Crowtooth. Despite his short height he was rather heavy in weight, packing hard blows. He was built for endurance and strength. Wolfwhisper's claws were outstretched for Crowtooth's shoulders to hopefully rake them down his limbs. If he succeeded, he would push the warrior back and give himself some damn breathing room!

'You're crazy'
True but only you'd face it. Only shadowclan would face this half made beast willing to push himself to the point of death to harm his enemy. Only those who'd harmed windclan would face this. And shadowclan had been harming windclan since before Crowtooth had been born.


His head clash connected where his bites didnt and Wolfwhisper managed to get his own space to retaliate, shame Crowtooth wished to press his advantage until the other tom collapsed. Wolfwhispers claws bit into his shoulders as the strike shifted him back a bit the skunk stripe toms own claws digging into the dirt to stop himself from going too far.


This only really gave him a run up and room to pull different moves on his foe though. Snatching up a medium sized sharp edged rock his paw landed near Crowtooth threw it with the strength of someone who dug through hard dirt and created entire tunnels solo. If he was accurate in his throw it'd hit one of Wolfwhispers legs hopefully stopping any attempt to flee while the shadowclan had the space, or maybe off balance him, that'd be useful. The throw was immediately followed by a charge to take advantage of the distraction it'd provide. You had your second to breath second over and Crowtooth was there again one front paw swiped low to tear at the other toms legs and knock them out from under him as the other went high. Went high to land a concussing force blow on Wolfwhispers head, high to scar and bleed a vulnerable location, high so if he was lucky his claw would hook into the toms eye.


Moves were dodgeable sure but the terror of realizing a second before or after the strike what your opponent had intended to do to you was not and lasted far longer.

Rabbitpaw was ready this time. He jerked his head backward, ripping his claws out in a very strong motion, probably causing Deadpaw a rush of pain, the relief. He quickly striked again, this time trying to strike her stomach with his hind legs.

Hissing as the claws were ripped free, although relieved to be free, Deadpaw let Snakepaw push her away with his hind legs. Landing on her feet she leapt at him quickly, hoping to pin him down with her paws, claws unsheathed.

A flare of irritation shot through Crowtooth at the other toms obvious amusement during a fight for their lives given it was obvious that given half the chance both would gladly kill the other. This was justice this was life and death this was taking a stand and in no way a game so how dare he. How dare he especially when Crowtooths instincts told him this was a killer of his clanmates where his rational thoughts didnt connect the dots. This attitude kicked up the rage that numbed all pain once more where it was starting to fade with two won fights that brought open wounds on his pelt each time. So where he was flagging again the anger that numbed and the satisfaction that sharpened at Grimhounds pain brought a second wind.


Perhaps before Grimhound could manage to get to Crowtooths side fast enough but now with senses into overdrive the tunneler twisted to face where the bigger tom would land before he even hit the ground. His foe was rearing..... And Crowtooth rose to meet it shoving himself into Grimhounds chest when he lept up onto to legs growling now when the shadowclan warriors claws sunk into his shoulders. The skunk stripe tom was really only able to bear the weight of the bigger cat because he was all strength and bulk in build and did what had to be the most labor/strength intensive work of tunneling every day but due to this he managed it his own clawed paws reaching up to try to lock onto Grimhounds shoulders in kind. This type of reared battle and lock was rare really rare and Crowtooth had no experience with it in real like but a few things were obvious to him, the first to let go of the lock and fall was at a disadvantage and that as the shorter cat if he could take the weight he had the advantage. If the lock worked Grimhound could only snap at his head and ears, Crowtooth had an entire chest and throat to work with. So he started snapping like some sort of feral hungry dog even if the reared lock failed and they both went down to all fours again.

“We do have brains! It’s you who don’t!” she hissed, a low growl escaping her throat. “Even if you do have brains I bet the only part of them is thinking about blood and murder!” she meowed, looking straight into the big bear like cats eyes.

Before she even noticed she felt the cat biting in her tail. She let out a yowl full of pain. As she was nocked to the left. She was knocked off balance and no where to run. Oh no, what could she do. She hissed at the cat. Blood was oozing out from her tail. She couldn’t give up this easily! Though she didn’t really care if she lived or died she wouldn’t die!

She pushed herself up, paws trembling from the impact, and dug her claws into the ground. She leapt off the ground and aimed for his eyes like she was almost gonna do before she aimed for the neck.

( Beargrowl could probably knock her to the side again, she’d most likely give up, run and watch from a far distance.)

successfully swinging the cat to the side, beargrowl let go of her tail to let out a mocking cackle. "you rabbits ain't strong either." he hissed, watching the windclanner shake when standing up. as she leapt towards him, he moved ti to the side just a bit too slowly - claws ripping into his throat. it wasn't deep enough to be fatal, but possibly could leave a scar if he left it untreated.

letting out a deep, loud snarl of pain and sudden anger, beargrowl stood on his hind legs and slammed his paws down, aiming to clobber the molly over the head.

“I may not be strong, but at least I had the guts to fight for Windclan! Dawnstar probably sent her best cats! Lets see the cats that almost failed apprenticeship then!” she hissed. At least she half landed that attack. She never had to worry about fighting cause she never wanted to fight for her clan!

Creamcloud was ashamed of herself. She absolutely sucked at fighting. Why would she fight for Windclan anways? What was she even doing? She never cared for any clans, only for herself. Did something like,, change? Her head was wrapped with all those types of questions. She was to busy she didn’t notice the cat about to hit her. One of her quirks was her being quick, like any Windclan cat. So she moved her head out the ways, but the cat hit her body. A sharp pain made her almost yowl in pain but she held it in. Did she like,, just crack a bone??? She better see her sister quick,, Peachfrost.

Creamcloud got up she hissed at the cat and ran towards a bush for cover. She was running away like a coward! She sighed, and continued farther into the bush, making sure the bear cat wasn’t following her. She started licking her wounds, the pain from the attack was killing her! Oh how much it hurt!
