HoneyIris was looking for herbs for a wounded warrior back at the hideout for cats unable to fight. She had already gathered the cobweb she was told to get.
Suddenly, she heard the howls of the coyotes, she didn't know that she had gone so close to camp.
She followed the noise, even though everything told her to turn back. She saw a coyote fling a silhouette of a cat. She looked closer and gasped.
"Buckstar..." she mewed quietly.
Then she turned around and bounded back towards the sanctuary camp.

Iciclepaw had somehow manage to stay hidden in the apprentice den, but by now she was getting curious and well- rather worried about the ongoing battle. Peaking out she was greeted with a astonishing sight. Her leader... and her new dad lying dead in the snow. Unfortunately it was too dangerous for the young apprentice to run out into battle, as much as she wanted to. Instead, Iciclepaw broke out into a long strain of tears. [closed]

Seeing Applepaw hit by a coyote, Spiderlily rushed over. Attacking the beast from behind, in surprise it ran away. "Come on, come on..." they meowed then picked up the tortoiseshell she-cat by the scruff and hurried over to the healing grounds.

~cowtail didnt know what to do coyote's were jumping at her left and right. But thankfully she spotted and opening and ran out of there reach when she saw icicle-paw she ran over to the her.~ Icicle-paw Buck isnt dead he has multiple lives. Just like every leader before him. He will be fine.. I promise. ~cowtail said making sure there were no coyotes near her and the apprentice.~

➳ Splitstorm

Another coyote would hit the dust soon, she was certain, as she now caught sight of Fleetwind attacking its side in a flurry of claws. The beast kept yowling, eventually turning tail to flee from the flailing claws.

”Get the hell out of this forest you stupid mutt,” the molly spat after them. She was just beginning to regain her fuzzy vision from being on her back for so long when a sickening sight caught her eye.

Buckstar.

Anger coursed through her and she let out a yowl, blinding flinging herself at the nearest coyote. She tore claws and teeth through flesh, rage filling her vision as she ripped at the new coyote, forgetting momentarily about Fleetwind and her Clan.

These stupid mutts needed to leave.

Hearing pawsteps approaching her, Iciclepaw tried to force herself to stand up. But soon she heard Cowtail's kind voice and relaxed. "He- he does?"

She saw Spiderlily hurrying towards her before everything else went black. Sounds were still mumbled around her ears, and Applepaw could hear what was happening, but her sight had left her. Her voice wanted to speak, but fear froze it tight, so instead she let the warrior drag her towards the medicine den.

Soon after, even her hearing faded and she felt the world slip away.

[she’s not dead, just unconscious - will loose her left eye and ear]

Braveheart Saw Buckstar and his eyes turned to slits he lunged at a coyote fighting harder than ever. He lunged at it's throat and held on tight as the dog swung him back and forth clawing at him trying to get Braveheart off of it. Eventually the coyote dropped and Braveheart got off. And ran to the next. . .
