Leopardpaw let out a purr as she felt Aloepaw's warm fur brushed against her. "Do you like squirrel?" She asked him glancing to the fresh-kill pile, the fluffy tail of a squirrel resting on top of the other prey.

Leopardpaw padded away from Aloepaw flicking his ear with her tail as she headed towards the fresh-kill pile. Sniffing the fluffy squirrel she picked it up, the fur on its tail tickled her nose as she trotted back to him. Dropping the squirrel in front of him she meowed," It smells good." She loved the nutty smell that squirrels got from the acorns that they feasted on." The last hunting patrol must've caught this one, because it's still warm," she murmured settling down on the ground beside him.

Dapplesplash gave her apprentice a plump dove, similar to the one she'd seen earlier, and took a rabbit for herself. "After your done eating, I recommend sleeping. I'm not going to wake you at the break of dawn, but your an apprentice now, and you need to get used to this schedule." She told her apprentice once they'd finsihed

Leopardpaw nodded to her mentor," Alright." Yawning as she swiped her tongue over her lips savoring the delicious taste of the dove, thinking about the one she had seen earlier. A few feathers drifted away from the pile she had made, wanting to save them for her nest. "Thank you Dapplesplash," she meowed sleepily, stretching her legs as she stood.
