Shockkit let out a yelp of surprise and whirled around to see who [I]dared[I] to attack her. She wriggled out of the young tom's grasp and spun around, spitting fury. "I'll get you back for that!" She screamed, delighted. She leapt at the tom and latched onto his back, claws sheathed.

Plumkit let out an ear-piercing squeal as Shockkit leaped onto his back. "Nuh uh!" he replied, rolling over to shake her off and wriggle free. The lilac kitten then raced away from Shockkit, turning back to blow a raspberry once he was a good tail-length away. He ran once more, expecting the yellow tabby to chase him around the nursery.

Vinekit dashed around, tripping over his paws. He laughed and kept running around barely dodging other kits. He continued running for a bit, but got really tired. So he curled up, and tried to sleep.

"I'd be delighted."

Though he was unsure exactly why the little kit was so unsure of her friend making ability at such a young age, he is now determined to help her blossom. Quiet purr growing in his throat, he shuffles a bit closer to Seakit, almost as if he already wanted to comfort her.

"Where is your mother, Seakit? Surely you're not here all alone, are you?"

As he asks, he tilts his head curiously. Perhaps it was overstepping but if this kit was all lone, with no mother or siblings... Then he wouldn't mind taking her in and raising her as his own. His eyes read warm even if his expression is flat. He couldn't help it-- it wasn't exactly a strength of his. Hopefully she didn't grow intimidated by it.

Lilackit
Dilute calico she-kit - 1.5 moons - She/her

Lilackit shyly slipped into the nursery, ears back, and tail between her legs as she looked around at the other cats. There are so many! she thought. Lilackit was very shy, and had no siblings or parents to comfort her, so she silently found an empty nest, and curled into he smallest ball she could.

Seakit's eyes brightened with appreciation. It was a comforting feeling, having someone so kind by her side!

"Thank you!" she mewed softly, her voice carrying a touch of gratitude. She shuffled closer to Eveningdance, their sides almost touching. His presence felt reassuring, like a protective wall against her worries.

But when he asked about her mother, Seakit tensed, and her gaze dropped to the ground. She hesitated, her voice barely above a whisper. "I... I don't know where my mother is," she admitted, "I haven't seen her in a while."

It seemed like she had gone through a lot, even in her short time, and even if she couldn't remember exactly what happened anymore. Her ears drooped slightly, and her voice had a hint of sadness. Seakit had been left alone in the nursery for what felt like a long time, and she wondered why her mother hadn't been there with her, like the other kits had their mothers. She hasn't had anyone to guide her in any direction yet.

Ah, so she was alone... Eyes still glued to the kit, he takes immediate notice of her shuffling in closer to his side and in that moment he's already made his choice. Settling into a comfortable loaf in his spot, the quiet purr grows juuust a bit louder as his long, fluffy tail moves to curl around little Seakit. Does he worry that he is overstepping his boundaries? Not at all. If she was comfortable enough to get closer to him and was now seeking comfort, eyes sad... The sad eyes of a hurting kit were the worst. Kind eyes find her face and he offers a hint of a smile in an attempt to soothe her worries.

"I'll spend time with you whenever you need until your mother comes back. Just call for me."

Sparkkit opened his eyes. He yawned hugely as he looked around. He nudged his sister to wake her up but she was a deep sleeper and didn't budge. He stood up and looked around. Who's that kit over there? he thought. She stood out and Sparkkit couldn't take his eyes off of her. I'll introduce myself to her. She looks lonely and scared. He strode up to her until he was a mouse-length away. "Hey, I'm Sparkkit. And you?"

Sparkkit tried to hide his amusement. He didn't want the kit to think he was laughing at her. "Come on, I see you. I just wanna play with you. I don't bite!" he chuckled.
