Icestar hissed as the she-cat loner retreated, letting out a yowl of triumph. She knew the smaller one would be no problem at all. Turning to where the little outsider stood, in front of the huge warrior, she sneered.

"Your pal there has the right idea," She bared her teeth in a wide grin. "Get lost. This barn is ours now."

Duck bounced off of Wolfglare's legs and stumbled back several paces. For a moment he teetered dizzily on two paws, then managed to right himself. He shot the bigger tom a look of thanks, turned to Icestar with terror in his eyes, then bolted for the woods. His heart thundered in his ears. The barn was no longer his home. He'd have to find a new one. His eyes narrowed and he paused at the treeline, looking back at the three cats. Anger blazed in his eyes. He'd find a new home, all right. And he'd make that she-cat pay for taking what had been his to begin with. With a flick of his tail, he turned and vanished into undergrowth.
