The yellow tom pricked his ear when he heard Maplestar's voice. What does she want now? he silently groaned. He dragged himself over to the Blossoming Willow where Maplestar was sitting. He noticed some cats gathering, and thought he would groom himself to pass the time

At the sound of Maplestar's voice, pale yellow eyes trailed to the Blossoming Willow. Roseburn blinked slowly, rising to his paws and making his way forward. He sat off to the side, not wanting to be in the center of the crowd as they began to gather. Once situated, he allowed his tail to curl neatly over his paws and looked toward Maplestar- his face blank, but his thoughts wondering what she wished to discuss.

Mallowskip looked up from where she'd been grooming herself, eyes shining with interest at the meeting call. She rose and trotted over, but caught sight of Roseburn and veered off her path to sit next to him. Lowering her voice to what was meant to be a whisper but instead was just normal volume, she mrred, "Rosie, hi! What do you think this meeting's gonna be about?"

Gentlekit slowly made her way to the meeting as soon as she heard Maplestar's voice call a meeting. She sat down, her tail curled over her paws. She was too lonely in the nursery and she didn't have any friends! A meeting would probably be funner than that! And also more interesting at least. The kit couldn't do a lot of things because of her kit rank. "What'll this meeting be possibly about??? the little kit asked. To no one in particular. Just asked. That's it

She let her gaze flick to several cats before landing on Mallowskip. "I have decided who my deputy will be. I say these words before StarClan, so that they may hear and approve of my Choice. The new deputy of SpringClan will be," she paused for a moment, grinning at the warrior. "Mallowskip!" she announced, leaping down from the Blossoming Willow. She flicked her tail in signal for the new deputy to come over. "Mallowskip has proved her loyalty time and time again, and I know she will be the right deputy for SpringClan,"

Gentlekit rolled around a small pebble before her ears perked as the leader started to speak again. The kit listened to Maple leader speak. A deputy..? Who is it? Who's the new deputy?? The kit was excited and curious for who it'll be. It could be anyone! She tilted her head as the name was announced. Mallowskip?? Who was that again..? Well...she kinda recognize the name from somewhere..? But Barely. Bbbuuuttt, if Maplestar choses her as deputy then that probably means Mallowskip is a good cat right? Maple leader did say Mallowskip is loyal. Even though Gentlekit didn't really know the warrior very well, she was still happy for the newly announce deputy. And Maplestar is no longer the only high ranker!

Gentlekit change her gaze from Maple leader to Mallowskip, wondering what she will say. Mallowskip...soooo Mallowdeputy..? That didn't sound very good to Gentlekit. She'll figure out something. For now it'll just be Mallowskip. She did call Maplestar as just Maplestar sometimes as well instead of only calling the leader Maple leader anyway. But anyway, Gentlekit just sat there; pebble near her, waiting for what the newly announced deputy would say.
