Buck was perched on a thick branch, looking around in the trees before giving a sharp screech. Nothing. He gave another screech, louder this time. He looked around, he heard them but couldn't see them. The kestrel gave a final piercing screech and began to hear the call being returned, the sound of wings flapping grew louder.
Thorn burst out of the trees, giving a sharp call and landing on a branch, steadying himself as it bobbed under his weight. When the branch had settled he waited, his gaze fixed on Buck.
Bongo flew from the cover of the trees, landing next to Thorn. He looked quite small compared to the red kite but he ignored it, turning to look at the bird who had called for the flock.
Two small females flew out of the denser trees, landing on two branches, opposite of each other. Kynvuu gave Tani a small nod, and it was returned. The pair looked around and Kynvuu chirped quietly, "Where is Ryn?" She was met with a shrug of Tani's wings, "Maybe she's too far to hear him?" They were cut off as Buck gave another screech, this time it sounded desperate.
A piercing screech rung through the trees as Ryn flew around the large tree and landed by Buck, chirping, "Sorry I'm late Buck." The young bird landed on a small branch, turning her attention to Buck.

Sylvia was perched on a branch and looking around. Sghe was trying to go somewhere, but she didn't know which direction to go. This was the first time she has ever been lost but it wasn't her fault this time. She felt something was off about this place.

Swoop let a screech escape his parted beak. In a flurry of wings, he landed on the branch. It slightly bobbed under his weight, and he tucked them to his sides as he waited for it to stready. "Sorry I'm late." The Peregrin Falcon said, dipping his head to Buck.
Star let a shrilling call escape her beak. The Osprey circled the tree about three times, her yellow eyes narrowed. Once she found the others she landed next to Swoop. The impact and bounce nearly caused Swoop to be knocked off, who snapped his beak at her. "Sorry, sorry." Star puffed out her plumage before it relaxed.

Buck gave a piercing cry and spread his wings. He looked over the flock, pride shining in his gaze. The kestrel suddenly lifted off into the air, shooting straight up into the air, just above the trees as he waited for the others to join him.
Thorn shot into the air, repeating Buck's cry. He stopped when he was the same height as Buck, staring down at the flock.
Bongo, Kynvuu, Tani, and Blair, who had slid in as soon as Buck had taken off, all flew up in the air, giving a sharp cry. The four slightly smaller birds cirlced around Buck and stopped at Thorn's side.
Ryn looked around at the others and shot into the sky, letting a piercing call escape her beak. She flew quite a ways above the group and shot down, stopping just on time to keep from crashing into Buck, "Oops." She chirped, her eyes filled with amusement as she joined the group.
