Relief flickered in his gaze and he let out a sigh. He hadn't really been expecting the tom to accept so quickly. Then a new thought crossed his mind and he shook his head. "Actually, scratch that - we need to work on the apprentice's den, and then we can get to the warriors' den." He nodded toward the east edge of the camp, at a small dirt ledge the hung over a patch of grass. "If we can get some brambles and weave it around that, then make the inside a little bigger, it might make a decent den for the apprentices."

“Smart thinking! Hey maybe we could weave in some flower and play their bases so it can smell good too?!” Ferretleap asked happy at the idea of a flower den. He didn’t know this cat well but he could tell they would make great friends.

A chuckle escaped him, sending a quick burst of surprise through his chest. "Sure, go right ahead. It'm sure it'll look nice." He dropped the lone bramble stem at his paws, hurried out of the clearing, and then returned moments later with a jawful of brambles.
Fighting back another coughing attack, he moved toward the dirt ledge and motioned Ferretleap over with a flick of his tail, already starting to push branches against the ledge in an attempt to weave them together.

She took a deep breathe in and slowly let it out before answering. "Yeah, just a little in shock we finally have a new home."

"Would you like to find some moss with me?" Leopardpaw asked Breezehen.

Ferretleap went and got some more brambles and carfully weaved them into pretty designs before going to get some flowers to plant throughout the den. “This is so fun! I wish we could do this every day!” He meowed cheerily. “Are you ok?” He asked noticing Buckbranch’s coughs.
