Flames was a new kittypet, who lived on the northern end of the Twolegplace. Somehow, he had managed to find his way over to an alleyway, and was exploring. As he padded into the alleyway, he would meow, "Hello? Anyone here?"

Potato stretched, waking from his nap. He needed to get some food and water. He crawled out from under the bush he slept beneath and started looking around. Maybe there was a knocked over garbage can he could look through. He went out to look.
