I don't listen to them enough to formulate a solid opinion, so I haven't written them off just yet.

Yep. I'm independently based, so I don't work at a garage- I just do it out of my home.

I am a student at chiawana and took mechanics but I had to take a bus to Pasco, for the class. so I know how to change a tire, the basics of a car battery, alignment, air filter, the basics of mechanics basically, my dad taught me how to change spark plugs and oil filter and the oil, I had to help him with my moms car with the transmission I think it was that we had to switch out for a new one. yeah, I am basically the mechanic of the household. @ Beck

Nice. They're important skills to have, even if you aren't going into the field itself.
