Swiftowl watched as Ravenpaw struggled, but decided not to help. After all, his apprentice had to figure this one on her own. She'd get around, eventually. He went back to work, spotting some other herbs that he decided he'd bring back and tell about to Ravenpaw once they got back to the den, as he didn't want to disturb her work.
"Fetch a dozen of these, and then we'll be clear to go back to camp." The old tom told her from the place he had been wandering to, looking at some ivy leaves he could use for transportation.

The molly looked at the tom and chuckled quietly. "Yes, I guess if you see it that way ..." She meowed as she silently watched what was going on in the camp.

Then after a while she sighed, looking at the forest.
"I know the warriors, and my mentor, are kind of busy right now ... but I'd like to go in the forest to fetch some branches or brambles ... our den has holes in it, and let me tell you, it's a pain to sleep in when the wind gets through it ..."

She realized she had been rambling, and looked to the side, tail twitching in embarassement. She wasn't even sure Trappedpaw was listening anymore. Why did she always have to make a mouse-brain out of herself ?

(Alright for the crush then ! Though Magpiepaw might be a bit oblivious to his (and her own) feelings at first.)

"At my old clan, the apprentices den didn't have any branches or anything covering it, so it got freezing during Leaf-bare, especially when it snowed. (Is that what they call it or do they call it something else?)" Trappedpaw meowed. He started getting nervous so he wrapped his tail around his paws, and looked at the ground. thanks
