The young leader's tail swept back and forth slowly, eyeing her clan.

"We have newcomers, outsiders I'm willing to give a chance. Webpaw [ @Spoopy Eclipse ] and Hazepaw [ @Paradise ], I don't expect too much from them, but with some proper training, they might make decent warriors for the clan." Dawnstar felt Hazepaw had similar capabilities as Foxpaw did. But only if she was willing to learn and take her training seriously. Webpaw not so much in physically, but mentally she had portrayed a certain cunning that might make her stand out from the others. The molly would need to get rid of her kittypet tendencies first.

"Lilacshiver [ @Warriorfan09 ] is a new queen, when she's ready to leave the nursery, I will assign one of you to handle her training." Lilacshiver would have it easy for the time being, but she'd have to start contributing to the clan once she was done kitting. Dawnstar had no qualms tossing her out of the clan otherwise.

"I have several reassignments to do. Shrewpaw [ @gs29513 ], Darkpaw [ @Star the Tree Topper ], Rumblepaw [ @Slushie ] Shriekpaw [ @Rani ], and Snakepaw [ @Kipo Oak ]. Your mentors seem to have ditched you, these new ones better not make the same mistake." It was getting tiresome finding new mentors, ShadowClan warriors were slowly becoming a bigger and bigger disappointment every day.

"Scorchstrike [ @ChillCat ]!" Dawnstar swung her glare in the molly's direction.

"Sunpaw [ @BerryBranch ] has come to me with complaints about your training or rather lack of it in the last moon, so I've decided to give her a new mentor. Normally, I would think of some punishment for you, but merely knowing that your an incompetent lazy kittypet who can't even train an apprentice, voices more than enough about you. I'm disgusted to call you a warrior of ShadowClan. You are not allowed to lead any patrols nor take any apprentices out of camp. If you can't handle one apprentice, how can I trust you with any apprentices." What a miserable excuse, the mentors really better start stepping up their game.

"Pinepaw [ @Bread ], you've recently returned so I'll find you a mentor. Do not go running off if you find they're not doing their job." It was utterly idiotic to do that in the first place. Especially when she was so willing to scold the idiots who abandon their tasks.

"Weaselheart [ @Willowfern ], you will train Hazepaw. She has a problem with her lack of a tail. I don't care what you do, fix it." Hazepaw insecurity with her stub of a tail was beyond irksome. ShadowClan cats needed to be confident and in control, the she-cat better get over it or Dawnstar would have to talk with her.

"Duskfern [ @Minty the Merry ], Webpaw will be your apprentice. She might not shape up too much, but at least try and teach her a thing or two." Reluctance and scorn had Dawnstar practically spitting as she assigned Webpaw a mentor. She made it crystal clear that Webpaw did little to impress her and the leader would not be sad to see her go.

"Now for the reassignments, Mistyfang [ @Sleeyjade ], you have Shrewpaw. Nightshadow [ @Mia ] and Snakepaw, Stonefang [ @Redtalon ], and Shriekpaw, Finchwhisker and Rumblepaw, Softheart [ @FlamePoint ] and Sunpaw, Violetstrike [ @Snow Fox ] and Darkpaw, Glaremoon [ @Exis ] and Pinepaw." Dawnstar finished, shooting each mentor a vile glare.

"Do not run off or lose these apprentices. I'm giving you all a responsibility. They had better be trained." Was what she was asking really that hard? The last warrior ceremony was moons ago!

Dawnstar wasn't in the mood for dramatic reveals, after letting the mentors and apprentices meet and get out of her way, she quickly went on to the deputy.

"The new deputy of ShadowClan will be Finchwhisker [ @Puddle~ ]." There was no point in adding the pretty words so all of ShadowClan remember how grateful they should be to StarClan. Dawnstar didn't need StarClan approval to pick out her deputy. She didn't need anyone's approval. The mice in StarClan were as lazy as the kittypets the Clans scorn. They did nothing, do nothing, so she will treat them as nothing. There was no point in glorifying the dead if they did nothing to assist the living.

The leader had no clue if this cat would meet her standers, she had no faith nor trust in him, but she needed a deputy and he seemed like the easiest to keep under her tail. Whether he actually kept his position would need to be seen.

"Aspenkit [ @Erebus ], it's time for your ceremony."

Stempaw didn’t know much about Finchwhisker, but hoped they were as strong and powerful as Dawnstar was,” Finchwhisker!” she cheered feeling proud of the new deputy.

New Deputy? Doetuft wasn't aware that she knew a Finchwhisker but apparently there was one in the clan so, flickering her ears around, sensing one call already she joined in, "Finchwisker! Finchwhisker!" She never knew him, but... one could hope he would be one to have a more reasonable approach to life... considering their current status of leadership.

Ebonyfang glared on as the leader announced the new deputy. Out of everything she said that was the one thing he found interesting. The tom hoped they wouldn't screw up or place their clan in danger. He was looking forward to working with him. Ebonyfang just sat back instead of calling out Finchwhisker's name. Callng out a cats name was for a cat to respect. He had no clue what they'd be like so for right now they didn't have his respect.

Shrikepaws head popped up in curiosity as he was miss named and reassigned within the same breath. He hadn't noticed Windstrike wasn't around really, maybe it was his distraction in other areas, but he didnt particularly have any strong feelings on being handed over to another. Sure he respected the warriors battle prowess but there was no real attachment. He'd just have to wait for Stonefang to approach.

In the mean time he refocused on Pumpkinpaw "I hardly see how my family situation has any relevance for my anger at you being a rude moron, and if you need to justify your anger by your past Im sorry to say but your obsessed and should really focus on the now. If you want to measure life and emotion by the pain you feel rather than your strengths you are weak." What was the other toms deal here? Shrikepaw was annoyed at how he responded to being bumped and the other apprentice immediately goes to comparing trauma like you would compare the size of the mice you caught on patrol. Maybe it was the sociopathic tendencies or maybe it was the nature of the monochrome toms training but Shrikepaw honestly couldnt usher up an emotional response even to the poking at what in any other cat would be deep trauma.

But hey if he wanted to play it this way... "You know nothing of me or my life but to answer your question; I never knew my father and if he's alive he abandoned me to die, and my mother died in kitting. While my sister lives we actually have no clue if there were others, if there were they died before we could remember them, oh and I am quite plainly a runt. You judge me without knowing me, which is just a bad idea and the difference between us is you seem to think the past matters more than what is happening now, in the present. And I really cant say what that idea makes me think of you" There he was done and truely out of any amount of care for this. Unless Pumpkinpaw was going to kick up more fuss Shrikepaw turned to ignore the other tom in favour of looking out for his new mentor.

Glaremoon sauntered up to Darkpaw and touched noses with her. “So, you’re my new charge huh?” He mewed absentmindedly. “Come on, let’s go train.” He said before heading to the entrance to camp.

wow! That's a lot of names.. Applekit just gave a cheer for the new deputy "Finchwhisker! Finchwhisker!" She hollered with a smile. "And all the other cats! And Aspenkit! Hurray!" she cheered with a happy swish of her tail.
