Flickerpelt stretched out in a nice warm patch of sunlight, arching her back and fluffing her fur. She'd just had the most wonderful dream - mice had literally ran to her paws!

(Uh... I'm new to this site, and I don't really know where to begin. I submitted a cat to ShadowClan; her original name was Dawnstreak, but then I requested that her name be changed to Flickerpelt.)

The silhouetted body of a young female lurked around the tree edges of the clearing. Her sea-green eyes wandered over the cats she called clanmates. She had no interest in regards to friendship or possibly anything more. She was here for one thing and one thing only. Just to live. And to protect the home she was born to, but that was really a given truly.

"Yeah...I counted them when I was little, she has 20, I only have 12", they tilted their head, thinking, "She might actually have more now, I'm not sure". They flicked their tail, sorta bored, they wondered how Mistyflight was doing, beating Kinkcloud's dad at hunting.

Mistyflight had just started returning home, grumbling irritably, as she'd been unable to find anything, "that jerkwad must've stomped so hard that he scared all the prey away", she muttered under her breath. Passing her cousin, she took a double-take, "Burningfrost? How've you been? If you're going hunting, you might want to head away from here, that captious tom scared all the prey away with his attitude". She stopped, lightly flicking her tail. @Ares

"Thats cool." He shivered slightly, all the battles to get the scars though... Getting to his paws he gently bumbed their shoulder. "Wanna get the apprentices right now? We can battle train if you want." He doubted his father would bother them training, and he did want to see Fogshadow fight. Without getting hurt of course.

The red ginger warrior yawned. Redheart barely got any sleeps last night, once again. With no longing for fresh-kill, he padded into the clear and searched for a spot before he found Cobwebpaw bouncing towards him. Redheart moved himself away from the 'paw. "You should be more careful of where you're bouncing."
