Ebonyfang examined the wound and padded out of the den to fetch the right herbs. The medicine cat came back with Dandelion and a stick. He padded back up to Bluekit. "Your paw is disconnected, so I'll have to put it back. When I saw bite bite down on the stick, because it will hurt for a moment." , he meowed. Ebonyfang let all of that sink in. " Bite. ", he meowed.

Ebonyfang gently placed his paws above and under on the kits injured paw. He softly pushed up to relocate it. He got ready to flinch if the kit made any noise. The medicine cat apprentice grabbed the Dandelion in his mouth and chewed it. He placed it nicely on her paw to soothe the pain.

Ebonyfang rubbed it in and pressed his tail to her back to jelp calm her down. "Does it still hurt?", he asked. If it hurt he might give her something to help her sleep. He knew poppy seeds were bad for kits.
