Icebeam was satisfied with the amount of cats present. "Ok.. now I'm gonna assign you the role of hiding or seeking. Since 23 of you are participating, 4 of you will be seeking. The seekers are.... Tinykit, Albatrosskit, Ivykit and... Autumnkit. Everyone else will be seeking. You guys have 30 seconds to hide. Ready... go!"

(How this works- seekers will roll a D20 for each hiding cat. if they roll 1-10, they don't find them, but if they roll 11 or higher, they do.)

Albatrosskit smiled. 'I'm a seeker!' The dark brown kit thought excitedly, his tail saving in the air. He rushed over to sit with the others.

Hiddenkit ran into the shadows and hid.

Softpaw had to think for a moment before hiding, she was quite large compared to the others. She eventually was satisfied when she hid behind a large rock.

Mothcloud licked Albatrosskit's head and whispered good luck before telling Nettlekit to hush and find somewhere to hide. Mothcloud hid in a very thick bush. Leafpaw ran off to hide in the warriors den at the back, covering himself with Nightstalker and Pepperleafs nests

Skybranch had trouble finding somewhere to hide as the queen was fully grown, ending up hiding in a thick bush.

Spiderkit and Littlekit separated so if one of the littermates was caught the other one would still stand a chance of winning.

Spiderkit had a bit of trouble finding somewhere to hide, as she might be around the same age as most of the other participants, but her massive size meant that despite being only three moons old the 24 toed she-cat was probably already the largest kit in the nursery. She ended up hiding in a thick bush just in time.

Littlekit, being only slightly bigger then the other three moon old kits at the moment had no trouble finding somewhere to hide. The tailess tom ended up hiding behind a rock barely large enough to hide him.

Flamekit hid behind a medum-sized rock.

Eaglekit hid in a bush.

Twistedkit hid behind a large boulder.

Hide and seek. Easy enough. When Ivy spoke again, Risingpaw made note of the absence of her own name being listed as a seeker so she figured she must be hiding then. She scrunched up her face in thought. Leaving camp was surely not an option, so she’d have to find somewhere in camp, somewhere good, somewhere those seekers would never be able to find her. She looked up and picked a spot, a smile snaking across her face. She ran, bunched up her muscles like she’d been taught, then sprang upwards, grappling somewhat clumsily onto a jutting root in the camp wall and pulling herself up. She shakily turned and stuffed herself between the root and wall, tail first, until she slid her nose far enough back that it was just masked by the line of shadow cast by the root. If she’d grown any larger this wouldn’t have been a viable hiding spot. Hopefully the moderate height would give her some sort of advantage over the seekers as they had all seemed to be kits.

Lostpaw flattened her ears as she wasnt called as a seeker...oh this was going to be hard. she padded to whiteheart and nudged him with her nose "do you want to hide with me?" she mewed, she didnt want to leave her mentor's side.

Whiteheart licked the top of his apprentice's head. "Sure! Let's go find some mud first. Quick, though." he explained that the mud was to disguise both themselves and their scents; a neat little trick, was it not? He would let her choose their hiding spot, maybe give a few suggestions if it seemed a bit too obvious or anything. He could already see a rabbit hole... If they enlargened it a little bit, the skinny warrior and Lostpaw would probably be able to fit in snugly.
