Yeah, he was not about to miss that again. Snowbeak was quicker this time, movements that of a snake, as he struck a claw into the pond and into the scaly side of a bass. Pulling it from the water with a satisfied low hiss, the tom brought it to the ground and delivered a swift, killing pile. He buried it near the bank to return for layer before slipping back into his crouch once more.

Briarfang huffs annoyed but hey at least he caught something he unburies his only prey and brings it back to everyone else.

Such a warm day, Gingerfrost was already starting to get tired (from the warmth, of course). But the bit of competitiveness in him and the need for prey was enough for the lethargic deputy to push through, and continue his hunt. Hearing some splashing near the water, after hiding his previously caught piece of prey, encouraged the feline towards it; his stance was crouched, low to the ground as he edged closer and sure enough there was a fish near the bank -- a bluegill. With a swift movement, the feline took the bluegill out in one swoop, quickly delivering it a killing bite. Deciding to see if anything else would come up, he remained near the water's edge, careful that his ears' shadow didn't peek over the water. After several instances another bluegill dared to close to the surface, which Gingerfrost swiftly removed from the water with both paws, falling back down as he delivered a final bite. Two for two, huh. Good fortune for hunting today.

Springpaw was hoping that maybe she would catch something again, third times the charm since she did snag a fish the second time. Of course what comes across her is something that was either bigger than her or about the same size, it depends on how one would see it. Just as she was about to go for the kill it would appear the stupid thing could sense her intent and went and got aggressive with her. What was her response? To run of course, and that she did as she ran away from the bird but tripped over her own feet falling fast first into the pond. Guess her falling into water to get soaked was even for the goose since it had stopped chasing her to go and fly off somewhere. With her ego hurt she got up and grumbled as she went to collect her fish from earlier to bring it back home.

Lionpaw hissed as the second shrew he spotted scampered off before he could even make a move. Out of all his attempts he had only managed to catch one measly shrew. With a huff, he lifted himself up and trudged back to camp with the others.
