[ShadowClan] ShadowClan Medicine Cat Apprentice Applications

Forestkit might still be young, but he's a small cat with big aspirations. He's smart and caring, and he loves to be around others. He loves his family and even at a young age, is loyal to the death to shadowclan. He'll do anything and everything it takes to protect them, whether that's as a warrior apprentice or a medicine cat apprentice. With big cats in his bloodline, including Dawnstar and also even Lostspark, Forestkit wants to give himself a name and be an important cat too. He would love to help his aunt out in the medicine cat den and learn under her. He doesn't know anything about herbs yet and has been planning to be a warrior apprentice but he would be surprised and happy to be chosen to be a medicine cat apprentice. He would love the idea of being able to help his clan with a battle in ways that didn't include him hurting or killing anyone because he is afraid of blood and doesn't like fighting for no reason but he doesn't want to be disloyal to his clan and flee in battle. Thats why, even though he doesn't know it, medicine cat apprentice might be the most suitable position for him. Being a warrior apprentice may cause internal struggles for him and not allow him to be himself because he will have to hide how he truly feels about battle and many other things. He has a super strong sense of smell as well which will help him for finding herbs in bad weather and also being able to tell if a cat has an infection or not.

The little brown tabby walks up to you and taps your tail. "Hello Lostspark." He says to you softly. "I heard you wanna take on an apprentice.. and I wanna help you out. So i thought I would tell you that I want to take the role, if I can. I love the idea of helping my clan but not having to kill anyone to do so. I think helping to heal after a fight is better for me than fighting tooth and claw. I know I can learn how to fight and maybe I'll like it but I also know I can learn how to heal and I'm really interested in that. I want to be the most loyal I ever can be to Shadowclan and I think doing this shows the upmost loyalty and love for Shadowclan." Forestkit tells you with a smile. "Thats all, I think. Just want you to know I'm interested." He says and then he leaves.

Nettlekit's not an apprentice yet but she is 7 moons so...

(And plus I started writing this yesterday and finished it today only to realise the deadline has passed, I hope that counts???)

 

Nettlekit is a orange tabby she-cat with soft, blue eyes. She has a silvery coat underneath her orange stripes. Her dark orange stripes circle her back and face, and she has white spotted paws. There is a large orange patch on the side of her hip. She has medium-lengthed fur with small ear tufts.

 

Nettlekit may seem like a simple, orange tabby kit but she is so much more. As a really young kit, Nettlekit was always interested in nature and plants, and was fascinated by the medicine cats and how different herbs healed different wounds. She found it interesting what medicine cats learn in order to help their Clan. She'd hung around the medicine den often when her mother wasn't looking. And now, as a 7-moon-old kit that STILL hasn't been turned into an apprentice, instead of being disappointed and sad, she takes the time to learn more than other kits usually would.

Nettlekit is a very timid cat who hates hurting cats in battle. It would hurt her just as much as it would hurt the cat. Instead of endless battling, Nettlekit wishes she could spend her life helping the cats in battle.

Nettlekit is a kindhearted and innocent cat, and believes in the positive side of the world. She loves helping out others in need, and even if it may seem like something she cannot fix, she tries her absolute best, which she believes in the most important thing for a cat to do. Try.

Nettlekit is always distant from the other kits, not because she doesn't like them, but because she is shy and hesitant to speak up first. But if speaking up first means to defend something she truly believes in, she would do it in a heartbeat. Another positive trait of Nettlekit, is that she does not give up easily. Once she has her attention fixed on a certain goal, it is hard to separate her from it. She would gladly speak up for something she truly believes is right.

Nettlekit is more emotional than logical. She goes by her heart, not her brain.

Of course, no cat is perfect, and Nettlekit is no exception. She has as much negative traits as she has positive traits.

Nettlekit tends to be quite overly optimistic, always believing everything would be great. While that may seem like a decent trait, sometimes it isn't the best to think so positive about everything. Nettlekit is also very cynical, believing that cats are motivated purely by self-interest. Another similar negative trait of hers is that she doesn't trust others easily, always skeptical of every move of a cat she finds suspicious or dishonest. She can also be considered cowardly, always backing down from a physical fight in fear that she might get injured, or in fear that she might hurt somebody, even though she finds that last part hard to be worried about.

She always tends to be a worrywart, freaking out whenever something doesn't go the way she expected it to be, or when a certain cat doesn't show up in time.

Overall Nettlekit can be a very truthful and kindhearted cat, but like all cats, she isn't all perfect. But she would devote her life upon saving the lives of others, and always work her best even when things get tough and hard for her. She is a very reliable cat, and possibly the purrfect medicine cat.
