The liking of his siblings next to him dwindled rather quickly as they started moving around next to him more and more. What was a little wriggling turned to uncomfortable squirming and Specklekit didn't like it, he wanted to get away from these moving bodies around him and he wanted to get away now. He squealed, trying to move left then right, but when he found no escape he crawled more towards his mother and onto her stomach instead of suckling, latching his tiny claws onto her fur until he was lying on top of her.
No longer feeling his siblings around him, he didn't squeal but instead settled down. A yawn escaped him, he curled up on top of his mother and purred very quietly.

Eelgaze and Rushflame looked at Specklekit as he made his way away from his littermates, the kit climbing onto Eelgaze, laying in her fur. "Well, this is very interesting. The kits seem to know what they're doing quite well.", the queen sighed. Rushflame looked at her. "Yes, they do.", the ginger tom said.

Specklekit yawned once again, curling up more in his mother's fur and getting comfortable. He was still, purring slightly and almost asleep when he sneezed. His head shook, his fur puffed out, and he jumped slightly. He was no longer curled up, sitting quite rigidly.

"Oh, Specklekit. It's okay. You don't have to be scared. You only sneezed, that's all.", Eelgaze said, calmly, licking Specklekit. Rushflame stood up, shaking his fur, walking towards the entrance of the nursery. "I'm going to go back to the warriors' den," he said. Eelgaze nodded to him. "Okay.", the brown tabby and white she-cat replied. Rushflame nodded to her, padding across the clearing to the warriors' den, curling up in his nest, soon falling asleep.

Eelgaze looked at Mudkit as he fell asleep. She rested her head on her paws, wrapping her tail around her kits. She flicked her ears, blinking a few times. The Maine Coon she-cat yawned, closing her eyes, falling asleep.

He laughed and gave his apprentice a grin, "I hope it was good enough." Ebony lowered himself slightly, his tail waving behind him. The tom unsheathed his claws and sprung forward, aiming for a bush. When he landed he spun around to face Midgepaw, "Not so hard right? You want to try it?"
