Curlypaw was grinning, but it slightly wavered at the mention of their father "Yeah, Ratheart can be pretty dumb."

"Yeah.. Honestly, I wish he'd just leave again now." Hunterpaw admitted, rolling his eyes. "All he wants me to do is flirt with girls. Not that I dont mind it, but come on... I gotta train, too."

Hunterpaw gave a confused look, but shrugged. "Alright." He turned and headed off, frowning.

Curlypaw sighed, relieved that their conversation was over. He turned and headed off in the other direction. In truth, Curlypaw didn't see his father as a father. He never liked how Ratheart was always chasing other she-cats, and was hardly ever around. He only saw his father as a flirt and irresponsible, and never intentionally talked to him when he was present.
Curlypaw shook his head, clearing away the thought. He had to focus on hunting, or he could miss a possible target. His ears twitched, detecting a sound to the left of him. He turned, and spotted a white hare. It wasn't the biggest, but it would do. deciding to target the small creature, Curlypaw broke into a run. The hare looked up and spotted him, then dashed the other way. Curlypaw turned and ran to the right, dashing in a full circle to meet the hare head on.
The hare let out a squeak and attempted to turn, but Curlypaw pounced, shoving the prey down with this paws and sinking his teeth into his neck. The hare struggled for a few second before going limp. Curlypaw released and backed away, licking his jaws. He then bowed his head and murmured "Thank you StarClan for allowing me to take the life of this hare for the sake of my clan." He reached down and latched his jaws around the hares neck, lifting it up.

Apologies for the late reply! I was out of town for the past two days! Mobile is a pain, so I just wait until I get home to use my PC. And that's fine, when you are free, just post in the clearing next, I have another rp with Ferretpaw after this one ends until their next training session.

His mentor was quite right. Shadowclan cats did seem to have quite the egotistical personality and Ferretpaw was glad that he wasn’t the only one that thought so. As they headed along, back to the comforts of the camp, the small apprentice’s ear twitched up at the sound of distant rumbling that could possibly be thunder for a next rainstorm that could be coming their way. “It seems that there is going to be more rain today..” Ferretpaw grumbled, his ears flattening as he quickened his pace to pad next to the warrior. He glanced at her as she spoke and for once, Ferretpaw thought that she wasn’t so bad. Most cats treated him like some kit that needed to be confined in camp, always tending to elders or fetching fresh moss. He returned the head dip to the she-cat as they grew closer to their destination. “Does that mean that tomorrow is when my first hunting lesson will begin? Or would rather teach me fighting first?” The tom-cat asked, curiosity in his tone.

Tealeaf knew she probably shouldn't badmouth the other Clans, but what could they do? She also heard the distant rumbles of probable thunder. "Yep. That's great." She said sarcastically, gazing at the dark clouds in the distance. She considered what they'd do tomorrow, then shrugged slightly. "Well, it'll depend on if it's pouring, and what seems better. I was thinking of trying out hunting tomorrow, then some fighting after that." She replied, then smiled and flicked her tail as she reached the clearing. "We better call it a day before it rains, it looks like it'll be a bad storm." She shivered at the thought of a wet pelt. "We'll train some more soon!" She promised, walking off.
