Primrosepaw smiled, happy for the new apprentices but then terror set in and she felt she was gonna be sick. No, no, no, no, no! They didn't wanna meet another cat! It just wanted to be left alone and not have so many chattering voices! She just wanted to talk to Treepaw and that was it! They'd met their max of new cats this moon. TreePaw, FogFoot and TigerMist were too many already! No, no, no! Maybe if it just sat there it's mentor would forget about it...

Oh great stars he was finally assigned an apprentice his gaze beaming with pride. Even if it wasn’t necessarily an entire training regiment since lichenpaws last mentor had to have taught her at least Something right? Shaking his head he got to his paws frantically searching for his new companion..hopefully he wouldn’t be that annoying. After a few moments of searching and asking other cats what lichen looked like he was able to spot the she cat. Quickly padding up he stopped just short of her a wide goofy grin plastered on his face.

Hello there! I’m cricket’hop but feel free to call me crick or cricket. he offered politely. His paws kept shifting from side to side almost as if he was nervous but that obviously wasn’t the case. Cricket knew a few things about himself that many would think odd. Firstly he suffered from ADHD meaning he couldn’t sit still for long and his attention was easily dragged away. Secondly he wasn’t a clan born cat like most of these fellow good sirs and lady’s around him. Instead he grew up on a farm. He had to work hard to earn their trust and his name. He had let his mind wander for a bit too long and quickly snapped out of it. Ah I’m so sorry about that! I often zone out at times if that happens just swat me upside the head I don’t mind. Oh also what would you like to learn first? Or would you just like to go for a walk and get to know each other? he meowed brightly.

A walk would be quite lovely since he has yet to leave the camp for a while and stretch his long lanky legs.

Tigermist enjoyed seeing kits turned into apprentices. But want she didn't expect was for her name to be called to mentor one of the apprentices. Beastpaw. "Wh-ok!" So much excitement! She watched her new apprentice with a smile.

Wheattails eyes lit up with happiness from beside her friend. "Good job Tigermist!!"

Lichenpaw eyes Crickethop suspiciously, he seemed much too excited!! He was also tall, much larger than she was, but he seemed fine enough!! Lichenpaw was definitely still going to sneak out and blame it on his instruction, though.

"I don't have any battle training yet," Lichenpaw told him, pretending to be disinterested, "I'd like to fight in any future battles we have with those fish faces!!" It was with that last line that she got a spark of excitement and eagerness in her aqua eyes, and the calico playfully dropped into what she thought a fighting crouch might look like. With her wide, mischievous smile, and the excitable swishing of her tail behind her, it was hardly a threatening sight.

Airkit sprang up, happy. "Birdpaw! Birdpawbirdpawbirdpaw! You got Newtberry! Congratulations! I hear he's a nice guy, just keeps to himself! You're lucky!" he squealed, running over to bop her.

Blossomkit rolled her eyes at her brother's squeamish excitement. She rolled onto her back, grooming herself. Like an adult.

NEWTBERRY
Newtberry had been sunning himself quietly, enjoying the peacefulness of the sun. He had still been listening intently, and when he heard his name calling he sprang up, bewildered. "Wha-*cough* Me? Twilightstar, you have to be wrong. I mean, yes, I haven't had an apprentice, and, at this age, that's quite shocking, but me? I'm-I'm-I'm just Newtberry! I'm not special!" He looked to her, thinking there was a mistake. "But...If it is your wish, and you are certain I am the cat for the job...then I humbly accept. I will pour all my knowledge into her, and I swear with my life she will be a well-respected warrior." He looked around, searching for his new apprentice. Wow. He was a mentor! He was giddy like a kit with excitement, if he was to be honest. A loud scream shook him from his thoughts. It was his new apprentice, Birdkit-wait, no, Birdpaw. "I'm here, little one." He paused, unsure of what to say next. "Uh, so- you excited to be an apprentice?" he stammered, racking his brain desperately for something intelligent to say. "Stupid cat, of course she's excited. Dammit!" he mumbled under his breath. "Ready to get started?" he asked finally. He lowered his head to touch noses, if Birdpaw wanted.

Beastpaw! Foxpaw! Birdpw! Springpaw! Whisperingpaw! Deadmoon joined in with the requisite cheering of the new apprentice's names, before listening as they were assigned mentors. She chuckled slightly as Beastpaw took off, charging towards Tigermist with all the enthusiasm of.....of a class all her own probably. She'd never seen so much energy. She almost missed Berryfrost getting an apprentice, but she was back paying attention to Twilightstar in time to hear that Rookie was getting an apprentice. Now THAT was going to be fun!

Foxpaw seemed polite enough, although Deadmoon was somewhat selfishly hoping that there would be one or two mishaps in their lessons, if only to give her something to rib Rookscreech about. Not that there wasn't a good bit to say about her own mentoring acumen, but she wanted to be able to give a bit of stick back if it came down to it. She turned, finding Rookscreech with her eyes, and smiling as broadly as she could. It might have looked a little freaky, but whatever. Rookie was used to her stupidity by now. Most of the reassignments seemed fairly standard, and she redirected her gaze to Twilightstar, intrigued to see whether the next announcement would be a warrior ceremony or something regarding the other clans. @Shade. He nodded enthusiastically completely ignoring his apprentice who gave him a questioning look. A sly smile spread across his maw. If it was anything else she asked for he would had gave her a half hearted laughs. In all honesty cricket was an amazing fighter when it came to battles he just disliked causing harm to others if they hadn’t done anything to him. After a long pause he studied her posture and immediately barked that’s incorrect. this was definitely going to take a while to complete the little cats training. If anything he was well prepared for it.

Right well then let’s get going shall we? he mewed the question while glancing over his shoulder as he stalked across the clearing towards the exit. His long legs covering ground rather fast.
