Well! It seemed like she had two enthusiastic patrolmates for this excursion! Letting a crooked smile crack across her muzzle, Mistheart dipped her head in greeting to the two apprentices that arrived, before flicking her tail towards the camp entrance.
"I'm uh--I'm Mistheart. Good to meet both of you," she hummed, eyes sparkling in amusement before she turned to lead the younger cats out into the forest. "Let's try and find as many of these herbs as we can today. Maybe... Maybe we can make it a competition!"
Tail twitching behind her in excitement at her idea, the small grey warrior skittered out through the entrance with a little more spring in her step than usual.

Her eye widened at her name, and she recognized the voice calling. So with a giddy bounce in her step, Skunkstrike padded up to Springlight and nodded, "Can do, Springlight! Say, do you have a favorite flower, perchance? No reason, just asking!" She beamed goofily at the young medicine cat before looking around to see Drizzlecloud and Orangeblossom were waiting on her. "Oh! Sorry friends! Didn't mean to keep ya waiting, let's go!"
With a chuckle the big black and white warrior started for the camp's entrance, with marigold on the mind.
the most super awesome cat to ever be super awesome had been called for a patrol, and they were going to absolutely annihilate any problem that came their way. solo it, one might say. the moment spring-newname had begun to speak, shrikepaw turned towards them, listening to the string of names that fell from her mouth. it didn’t so much matter if their name was mentioned, so long as their nerd siblings weren’t. shrikepaw was going to be the first one to go on a patrol, no way would they lose something luck based! they had worked hard to constantly stand in the way of every important cat in the hopes of being summoned, and it looked as if their work had finally played off. mwahaha!
bouncing excitedly towards springlight, they turned to look for dragonflycliff and eggbite, moving towards the latter as the medicine cat continued speaking. sorrel, sticks, and moss. no problem! soft green leaves, many stems. yep, they had that in the bag !! watch and learn, losers !! first time out of camp and it was going to be super duper cool. heck yeah!
Hearing the call of patrols, Woodpaw emerged from the Apprentice Den and went to Springlight. His ears perked up as he waited for his name to be called. Hearing that he was to go out with another apprentice named Wildpaw, he gave a faint smile and went towards Bumblestar. Looking up at the leader, he dipped his head slightly in respect.

Eggbite and Shrikepaw. Right.
Shrikepaw looked very excited to do the patrol, and Dragonflycliff smiled as she walked over to her and Eggbite.
"To Willow's Rise then." she meowed. Leading the patrol would be nice.

First came Orangeblossom, whom she didn't know very well, but he seemed to have good energy. Her green gaze shifted to look at him as he waved, and she smiled in response, her tail thumping against the ground a couple of times before she gave him a verbal response. “Hello! I've been good… It's been a less chaotic lately, which is always nice… I hope you've been well, too.” Within the first few moments of chatting, Orangeblossom had proven himself to be a sweet kid. She'd certainly remember that about him!
Skunkstrike came along soon after, and she waved her tail to the warrior as they arrived. She could just make out an apology coming from the warrior's lips, and as she stood to follow her out of camp, she dismissed such apologies. “No worries at all, Skunkstrike!”
Ooo, herb patrol. Bumblestar lifted her head at Springlight's call (she was still getting used to the suffix, honestly) and trotted over to where Woodpaw was already waiting for her. No Wildpaw in sight, though. Oh well, their loss.
"Alright, let's go." She flicked her tail at Woodpaw. "Looks like it's just me 'n you unless the other one decides to show."
Lavender and celandine... she was pretty sure she could identify the first one easily enough. The latter might be a bit more difficult.
Had been in the clearing, but didn't see the patrol leader show up until after the other apprentice showed up. Shouldn't it had been Bumblestar to show up first. Oh well. "No no I'm right here was waiting for you to say something.", he meowed calmly. There was no they were leaving him behind.

WOODPAW
He looked up as Bumblestar trotted over and gave another soft smile, nodding at his words quietly before Wildpaw, the other apprentice, made their way over. As the patrol went out, the tom was able to gaze over at the other two and he studied them. This herb patrol should be interesting, to say the least, despite that he is unfamiliar with the two. Maybe he can gain a new friend, or perhaps an acquaintance, too.

Skittering back into camp (hopefully with the two 'paws at her heels), Misthear quickly scampered over to Springlight before dropping off her bundle with a grin.
"I um... I think I've found the--I think you called them blessed thistles??? I uh... I certainly found something matching the description at least," she hummed, unrolling the leaf slightly to show the medicine cat the odd plants she'd collected. "And Copperpaw and Warblerpaw got lots of borage and yellowbells. They uh--they did real well."
Giving Springlight a crooked grin, the small grey molly rerolled up her bundle before offering her a dip of her head and skittering over to drop off the herbs at the medicine cat's den.
