"No, the clan will be in extreme danger!" He meowed in a deep tone, "Nah, I'm just messing with you, of course the clan will be safe! My sister's up there guarding this place like it's her own kit!" He pointed at the white figure who seemed to be sitting extremely still. "Let's go, we haven't got all day" he meowed, padding towards where the destination is.

Cherrywing looked down at her swollen stomach. "Other than the occasional kick, they're all perfectly fine. Tell me, have you ever thought about having kits?" her eyes trailed off to a patch of bracken that looked jumbled and messy. She sighed. "If so, I would probably hold off until we get the nursery done. But if you still end up getting pregnant, you could always sleep in my den until they're born."

(I forgot to mention...Cherrywing can be a bit brazen and doesn't really understand the meaning of sympathy/empathy)

Stripefeather purred in amusement and shook her head "No, kits aren't really my thing, and I haven't met anyone that I would want to be with like that, I'm comfortable hunting and doing my duties." She meowed, nodding to herself slightly and grabbing her tail to give it a wash.

Cherrywing looked at the ground. "I actually wanted to ask you for some advice. The thing is, we have no hunters in the Clan right now. Even when my kits are out of my den, I'm going to be going back to fighting duty. Should I put a few kits into hunter training, or should I let THEM decide what they want to do?"

Moosekit skidded to a halt, and gazed up at the taller warrior. Though he knew he could easily be scooped up and put in the nursery again, he spoke with the dignity of a seasoned warrior. "Oh, out." The kit figured he'd spare the details since he wanted to make his catch a surprise. And he knew that if he told the warrior, he'd either be accompanied out or, more likely, ushered into camp.

Frostfang looked down at the kit, amused. "Really. Are kits allowed out now? You certainly are lucky, when I was young we had to wait until we were in training to leave camp." He sat down, blocking the exit of the camp.

Nightblaze watched Moosekit trying to leave camp. "Hey Stonefoot!" He called and Stonefoot walked over. "What do you need?" He asked the guard.Nightblaze nodded towards the kit. "Keep an eye on him." He whispered and the fighter nodded.

Stripefeather looked at Cherrywing and narrowed her eyes thoughtfully before saying slowly "I think... you should let them decide, maybe tell them that we lack a certain position but don't force a cat to do something they don't truly want to do, or they'll be unhappy, anyway we already have four kits in the nursery, and they could pick being a hunter." She shook out her pelt and gave her tail one last lick before sitting up.

Moosekit jumped as Frostfamg blocked the exit. With a harrumph, the kit stalked away. He slunk to the nursery and, when he thought no one was looking, slipped behind the den. He had a secret exit, one he’d saved for a desperate situation like this. The small kit slipped through the tunnel without difficulty. He emerged in the forest of pines, smiling. He was going to catch a real, live moose.
