I used to get like 11 notifications a day now I'm lucky to get one...

That's how I imagine HRs to be...I wake up and come online to see people saying "congrats on deputy" or whatever HR I get...

I was gonna say lol...I was gonna go and just nab them all (except for RC I don't really RP there anymore and I have no cats for HRs there) but I suppose if they made it so people would still have to sign up as normal, then my chances wouldn't change one bit.

I don’t like the staffes way of finding HRs. I prefer the way they find Dep and MCA by the other HR doing a search with a real form.

You wouldn't really 'wake up to the congratulations' if you were chosen. The leader / medicine cat reaches out to the candidate via PM prior to any announcements and updates. The candidate needs to accept the position and a ceremony needs to be posted before we update the Clan News / sidebar. Then you'd get the surge of 'congrats!'

We like users thinking outside the box. Forms make copying and pasting way too easy and they're overused - we don't want to be told what your character is like, we want to be shown.

We've done handpicking in the past and it's .. only kinda worked out. Our way requires people to want the position. It's not supposed to be easy. If you're not willing to go beyond a form, that's not a great indication you can handle the responsibilities of having a high rank.

The creativity thing is hard...

But one of my pet peeves about it is how I come up with something and I don't get it then someone else uses my idea in another one and gets it...

Also when I try so many different ideas and none of them et picked but everyone else's seem kind of boring and it's like "WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO DO?! Like pick one do you want to be normal or different?" Sometimes I don't understand the difference between normal and different on this site...

Anything that would seem normal is too boring but anything that's really unique and different is unnatural,

Such as the naming thing for example...we are told to make our character unique and exciting but we're not allowed unrealistic names...it's hard because no matter how hard I try to make things exciting yet normal...things for me like Holly or Pine or anything just go completely unnoticed but then something like Little, Torrent or Gleam is still unnoticed...

Sorry to be ranty as usual but subjects like this really trigger me
