Fawnsqueak wasn't concerned about it, dismissing the notion with an idle flick of his puff tail. He believed Snailblossom when she said she wouldn't do that, yet he wouldn't have faulted her for it either way since it seemed to be a life or death situation over in WindClan. If eating a body was what they had to do to survive, he expected that was what their fallen clanmates would've wanted.

Tilting his head to the side, he echoed that, "You'd rather starve?" He wasn't prepared to push the issue further than that when they probably wouldn't see eye-to-eye on it, and it wouldn't be a productive conversation. RiverClan wasn't at the point of needing to eat one another, as they were fortunate enough to have steady patrols and a source of food in the stream. "It's kind of a miracle that you made it," he said, earnest. "With... how it's been, I guess."

As she expressed interest in eating, he perked up and instinctively peered to the pile, melting into a sheepish smile as he saw what was on it. "Mostly fish," he reported, padding forward to get a closer look. "But there's probably something else, uh... what do you like to eat? I mean, I don't think we'll have rabbit, but maybe there's a mouse or vole.."

Snailblossom shrugged. It hadn't been that hard to not eat. Sometimes she would go to sleep starving or even go outside the clan to hunt for herself. "Sometimes I would get out of Windclan to find food elsewhere.", she meowed. Maybe if Windclan had done what the other clans had done and find territory in the outskirts. It would have helped.

"If Im going to live here I might as well see what fish taste like.", she meowed with a smile. She had to get used to it. Who knows maybe she might end up liking it. She had never tasted fish before. Not even in a stream in the outskirts had she ever caught a fish or even tried it.

"Either way, I'm hungry!" She lowered her muzzle to the fish, taking several bites out of it. Mosskit finishes her portion, swiping her tongue around her jaws.
"Mmm! Hey, you guys wanna go ask the warriors for badger rides?" She bounced up and down on her paws, full of energy, despite just finishing a race.

"Cold, cold, cold, cold, so freaking cold." Finkit sat in a patch of grass cleared of snow with his feathery tail wrapped around his legs. The red marbled tabby didn't understand why leaf-bare had to be so frigid. The seasons could have chose literally any other time to be cold. Or it could just have not gotten cold at all. Finkit huffed as he peered about the bustling clearing, wishing there were other kits to play with. I mean, other kits who want to play good games, like hide and seek. Not stupid ones like moss ball or tag. He bared his teeth and growled for a split second, then ducked his head, picking at the grass.

The tom walked into the Riverclan clearing with a few silver minnows in his mouth. His whiskers frozen and snowflakes dusting his coat. His amber eyes looking for the fresh-kill pile, once upon it Mossythorn dug a hole and put the fish in it before covering.
A small squeaky growl caught my attention, turning my orbs over to the noise he noticed the tiny kit. Padding over the warrior introduced himself, "Heyya Buddy, what's up?" He asked, heading towards the little fur-ball

Harekit twitched his ears at the word "badger."
"Aren't badgers dangerous?" He asked, swallowing another mouthful of fish.

She bapped his head with her paw.

"We have to go ask around mouse-brain! But they can't be busy or we'll get scolded. And I don't wanna get scolded." She poked Harekit in the side since he was covering his head.
"Also, we need to wait for Asterkit to finish. Which could take mooons!" She snickered at her own joke.
