Sharpfin's ears perked up in excitement. "Really? Wow, I'm super proud of you actually. Riverclan is in need for strong warriors, hopefully you manage to check all those boxes, hm?"
Sharpfin paused to stretch his freezing paws for a moment, stretching out each of his paw pads.

"I personally always wanted to be 'Sharpbird' or 'Sharpwisp', but beggars can't be choosers, y'know? Plus, I think Sharpfin fits me a lot better." He rambled on as he swayed back and forth, shifting the weight on his front paws ever so slightly.
"But I'd love to hear a list! I have nothing better to do anyways," Sharpfin shrugged, blinking sunlight out of his blue eyes. |

Sharpfin let out a short cheerful hum. "Well, if that's what you want then I'm sure it's perfect."
Then he thought for a moment, allowed his mind to wander. When he finally landed on the thought he wanted to find, he piped up, "I think trees actually have hearts.
"If I remember correctly, when the tree cutters come and, of course, cut down the trees, I observed something. They have lines, many many lines. At the center is where my mother called it 'the heart of the tree.'
"Tree's don't have literal hearts of course, but they do live and breathe and die just like us. I think it's quite fitting, how we're all connected."
Oh Stars, he just started rambling.
Sharpfin flashed Treepaw an apologetic smile, the corners of his mouth a bit more lopsided than usual.

Shellwhisker quicked her pace, tail swishing in the air behind her.
The golden-brown and white warrior didn't pause her walking for a moment, however flashing Frostwhisker a warning look from ice-blue eyes.
''It doesn't matter what Squirrelpaw did. What matters is that you should be leading this patrol yet I'm leading it for you.''
The warrior's voice wasn't cold nor unfriendly, but it had a firm tone to it.
''Now, let's split up and hunt. Meet me back here at the entrance to Haven Springs when you've caught at least three pieces of prey each. And remember,'' Shellwhisker added.
''If you see any rogues or outsiders, kill 'em. Unless they're Squirrelpaw. DO NOT HARM THAT YOUNG APPRENTICE. Squirrelpaw's allowed to return in a moon.''
The RiverClan molly padded away from her patrolmates and slipped silently over the grass into the springs.
Shellwhisker opened her jaws to scent the air, catching the smell of fox. Fresh.
She called back to her patrolmates, Frostwhisker and Warmstream.
''Wait! Don't start hunting yet. I smell fox, and it's fresh.''

Shellwhisker's tail tip twitched warily, and she narrowed her eyes.
Lowering her head, the RiverClan molly followed the fox's scent. It turned away abruptly at the border, heading deeper into RiverClan territory.
Shellwhisker lifted her head, turning to look at Frostwhisker and Warmstream.
''It heads towards the border but then turns and heads deeper into our territory,'' She explained.
''After we hunt - three pieces each, remember that - we will return to camp and report this to BOTH Dusklion AND Birdsnow. Now, go on. Get going. Yowl for help if you run into the fox, and I'll find you as fast as I can and sink my claws in its throat.''
Without another word, Shellwhisker bounded through the bushes silently.

minkpaw yawned, the long journey was taking a toll on her body, still not used to a lot of the activity she had been doing the past moon or so, her last sickness had taken more out of her than she had expected. but the clan needed herbs, so they gave it their everything and pushed on. they werent actually sure if there would be a lot to find at haven springs, but had decided that it wouldnt hurt to try, especially if this would help her avoid the journey in the future..in case there werent any usable herbs of course.
she turned her head, looking back at the two clanmates she had dragged along, she had actually no idea who the second one was but also didnt really care, as long as lillypool was accompanying her. grateful for lillypool letting them drag her along they made a mental note to bring her some fresh kill some time soon.
"you two can uh- just hang around when we're there, im just going to go check out some plants" she smiled, already almost able to see their destination.
