Primrosepaw's trot had slowed down to a walk. She kept her ears perked as Silversong spoke, but was confused by the meaning of her words. She'd never heard of the colours before, or seen them, nor had she ever heard about the word 'kill'. As Silversong made sure Primerosepaw was following her she asked Why did they decide to keep Primeros in your name and not just prime or rose?" she asked this because she always thought primerose was way to long.

Or whatever you want to be called. I do not mind. But your name is hard to pronounce so... you can also just be... S. Because of your name I cannot pronounce starts with S. So. Hi S." S. What a weird name but... Eelpaw did not mind. And then a paw hit them and they scrunched their nose before letting out a sneeze directed at S, before just following along. They liked this warrior, this S. "I don't know how to fish. No one taught me."

Getting the little apprentice to genuinely stop and unscramble their mind in front of them was honestly intriguing. Sassafrasfire hadn't had so much fun since their times out with Petuniapaw, and they hadn't even been quite as mean to her as they were being with this one. "E.E.L.P.A.W. then." They stare down at Eelpaw, waiting for their next reaction. But before the apprentice could suffer through any more, they relax and wave their long plumed tail. "You're gullible, you know. We spent a lot of time here discussing our names rather than going and being productive for Lionstar. I don't believe he would care that much unless we were bringing harm to RiverClan, but any other cat could keep you standing here for a long time without you realizing it."
Padding around them, Sassafrasfire leads the way to the riverbank. They hadn't meant to scold Eelpaw and they hoped that the apprentice didn't mind it too much. "Well, what's something common sense would tell you about catching a fish? You sit here and try to catch one, but what do you think is one thing you need to do in order to do it."

Primrosepaw simply continued trailing behind her mentor, listening to the sound of her pawsteps to not get lost. At the mention of hunting, she tilted her head. They hadn't done that before.
