Her first attack deflected, Firelight came down from her egotistical high from winning the previous match and started getting a little nervous.

Dewpaw seemed pretty agile. Cats like that typically couldn’t absorb as much damage, could they? Which meant Firelight might need to attack her head-on, right? No—most cats seemed to be either strong or agile, but unluckily for Firelight, she was neither. Oh well, might as well try her best anyway.

Firelight tried to attack Dewpaw as the apprentice was still getting up.

Sunspirit staggered slightly, but swiftly ajusted her paw holds on the ground before twisting around in attemp to trip up the apprentice

As Smokepaw's paw lifted to strike him across the muzzle, Flintfang realized it was too late to dodge the blow. So instead he steeled himself against it, and then when the sharp, momentary sting of pain vibrated through his whiskers, let his own paw shoot out to try and trip the apprentice infront of him so that he could pin her.

Without wasting a moment as Smokepaw tripped, Flintfang twisted and tried to pin her to the ground with his heavier weight. His gaze landed on her slightly bent tail for a moment. "I'd say we wrap this up now." He offered quietly, raising an eyebrow in question.
