Sootpaw had been listening behind bushes. “Raven could make it.” She blurted. ”I could carry him on my back.” she felt quite sad for the deformed kit, and sh didn’t want these cats to stay on their territory. “Hey, raven, want a badger ride?” She asked sweetly, looking at him.

Raven cowred behind his mother at this new voice. He shook his head and ran into his den squealing.
"He's too scared". She mewed.

An idea suddenly flashed into Sootpaw’s mind. “How about I take you to my clan? Everyone is super nice!” she mewed softly to Raven, after coming close to the makeshift of a den this family had. “You’d always be full, and cats would appreciate you there!”

Sootpaw crouched down so raven could get on her back. “No problem.” She mewed, smiling at Sparrow. “Do the brothers want to come too? Or just Raven?’ She asked, sneezing but then looking back up and smiling again. “C’mon, Splashpaw, let’s go back to camp.” she mewed.

Raven stumbled behind the 2 cats, and squeaked reminding them he needed help walking. "I'll miss you mama, hawk, and crow" he mewed after his family.
