Bumblebelly let his green gaze glance across the camp for the second time in his life. He gave a short nod of appreciation towards the deputy. He found a spot to the side of the busy camp to sit, long tail wrapping around his coal black paws as he waited to see the star. For a moment, he hoped to see Fawnsqueak, but knew that probably wasn't about to happen yet.

Lampreykit had grown a lot since their encounter with the mean Elder who'd nearly traumatized them into never leaving the nursery again, both having grown physically and mentally. The kitten had realized that they were non-binary, and now presented themselves as such. However, as mature as they thought they were, they were still a child. Wriggling their haunches as they closed in on a poor innocent ladybug minding its own business on a blade of grass, they tensed their hindlegs and with a sudden burst of speed, landed paws first on the bug. They let out a small squeak when they realized it had squished under there and got it's bug juice all over their tiny paw pads.

"Lionstar!" he called out, dragging his gaze away from the newcomer, "I have a prospective clan member waiting for you!" After a moment's pause and continued, a hint of sarcastic teasing in his voice, "It seems the tales of your greatness travel well."

Turning back, the hint of comfort that came with being home faded. Perhaps he shouldn't be so suspicious - they had plenty of newcomers in the past moons - but the tom's previous allegiance with ShadowClan left Sootflare wary.

Foxpaw watched on with an amused smirk, "Now what are you gonna do?" she said with a laugh.

"This is gross! It's all in the fur between my toe-pads." They gagged when they sniffed it with their little pink nose, as it smelled bitter.

Foxpaw rolled over in laughter. "I think that's a stink bug!" She said through her laughs.

They shook their head adamantly. "No, I'm sure it was a ladybug," they said, trying to regain their very mature composure.

Foxpaw finally calmed down and sat up, "So what exactly are you doing?" she asked as she tilted her head.

"I was practicing my hunting," Lampreykit told the apprentice with a bit of pride in their tone.
