Trash woke up from the couch he called a den. There was a hole in the middle of it and he had once removed all the stuffing and propped up with sticks. Over the top of it was a tarp in which protected him from getting wet. The old tom padded out of his den and sat down in a clearing. Trash loved his home and always have. "Hey Dawn. It's breakfast time.", he yowled. He didn't want her sleeping all day. Trash scented a rat nearby and got into a crouch. He caught it than caught another one. He set them down in a pile.

Dawn immediately awoke at Trash’s yowl, padding out of the pile of blankets she called home she walked over to Trash,
“Good Morning Father, How are you this morning?”
