ThunderClan Warriors' Den

Sat beside the camp's entrance, the warriors' den is crafted of tightly-woven branches, vines, and other vibrant foliage. Vines and moss hang like a curtain in front of the entryway.

The Calico poked his head in the Entrance of what he assumed would be the Warriors den. Looking to see and make sure they didn't butcher it. So far, it looked nice. They had even placed a nice coverage for the entrance.

Standing there for a few moments, simply just lingering. Perhaps he was procrastinating, not wishing to go hunt for herbs with a stranger but he said yes. He would blame Gentledoe however, seeing as how she asked when he was in a tired state, it was hardly fair. Maybe he would sneak out without them.

So, swiftly, the Warrior compiled his nest, sticking it in the far far corner, near the front of the den. It didn't look nice, but it let others know that's where he decided to sleep. So, with his messy pile now where he wished to sleep, the Warrior turned tail and made his way back out into the Clearing.

After she had finished up trying to be some sort of help around camp, the auburn and dark gray molly left the clearing, waving a goodbye to whoever wanted to wave back, she had loped into the new warrior's den. It had yet to be totally worn down, but that was to come with time. She glanced at the other cat in the den, Spiderthroat, who she was thoroughly intimidated by and wasn't really in the mood to test the waters with, as she padded sorely into the den. Leaving the inner nests for the older warriors, she chose one near the exit. She wanted to be able to escape fast if the camp was even caving in on itself again- which she prayed never happened again in her lifetime. Nodding in greeting to Spiderthroat, timing it so perfectly that he was already turning his back and likely missed the nod entirely, she shrugged and decided that the effort was there.

It was the thought that counted, right? She sure thought so.

Butterfly, for one, was exhausted, and she didn't understand how that cat could leave the den without wanting to pass out in a nest. Everyone- or, almost everyone, had worked their asses off and it finally paid off. It wouldn't be home for a long time, but new memories could be made. They hadn't lost a soul, as far as she knew, to the sinkhole, and now they all had a safe place to sleep tonight. Speaking of sleeping- that sounded like the right idea. Resting her chin on her paws and curling up into a loosecat-donut, it didn't take the warrior long to fall asleep, snoring ever so softly.

PinePelt sat there staring at his paws thinking of prey and victory against shadowclan to prove he was capable of stuff

Houndchaser enters the den, nothing. As expected, Rainfall was nowhere to be found in here or the medicine den. The warrior facepalmed and exited, once more, their search ended in no sign of the queen.

Softsky laid in her new nest, oddly exhausted during the day lately, but she paid no mind to it. . .partially because she fell asleep shortly after.

Spikystalker grunted... his head hurt from all this chaos... what he wouldn't give for some peace...

Icykiss gathered up a nest for herself near the back of the den...

Today was just an awful day! It didnt begin that way, not at all, at the start it was rather nice. The birds were singing and Mudhound woke warm and comfortable able to sleep in without being dragged off to dawn patrol. The warrior had been ecstatic, planning on spending the day refining their poor stalking skills in the forest trying to close the small gap of knowledge they had solo from their time as a rogue.


Thats when disaster struck. Mudhound had forgotten about brambles. The tripod had been sailing into a bush after a bird they'd managed to get close to when their back paw, the only one they had and the one that bore their entire substantial body weight in that moment, hit the ground. Right over a thorn. With the weight and force of an entire leaping maine coon over it that thorn had gone in deep. The whole thing was horribly painful and the screech the warrior let out had spared both the bird almost in their jaws but also every single bird in the area. Not that Muddy was doing any more hunting in their state. Nope they'd immediately limped home to try and get it out.


Except.... Well they couldnt exactly keep that paw off the ground while walking, there was no other leg to hobble on and it had only driven the thorn in deeper. Plus as the chunky and bulky cat was finding out their large frame made it downright impossible to twist around and grab the damn thing to yank it out! They were doomed! This definitely wasnt important to bother the temporary medicine cat with and Mudhound was still kinda.... hesitant of her (which was stupid even barring fighting skills Muddy was so large and Roseraven so small they could just squash her) it was just. Ugh Mudhound didnt know! All they knew was that they were doomed! This thorn was never coming out and they'd never walk right without pain again! The world was awful now!


The large warrior whined, half in physical pain half in emotional, catastrophizing in the strangest position a cat could possibly hold to do so. Rocked back on their butt, injured paw straight up in the air on a fully extended and locked leg, front paws curled into their chest and face as they leaned on the wall of the warriors den. Again whine-mewling sadly all the while seemingly oblivious to the blood dripping off of their aloft paw.


If this was at all normal to the cats in the warriors den (cats Mudhound was ignoring to internally panic) then something was seriously wrong with thunderclan.
