EXTENDED BIOGRAPHY

[moon zero - 0-4 weeks]

Gingerkit was born to a polyamorous pairing of Azaelablood, Morningmimic, and Sharkhail of RiverClan on Febuary 29th, 2024, alongside her four siblings; Sedgekit, Myrtlekit, Owlkit, and Batkit. She spent her first moon largely in RiverClan's nursery; blind, helpless, and generally being an uninteresting, furry bean of a cat that didn't really do much but eat, sleep, and cry out for mama's attention and milk. One thing that stood out is that she instantly held a knack for getting sick that began at only a few days into her life. Despite being on the smaller side and with an almost constantly runny nose, Gingerkit made it through those crucial first weeks and almost instantly developed a large sense of self-importance.

The white and ginger she-kit has been unsick for a whole two days on her first-moon birthday when she decides to venture forth from the confines of the RiverClan nursery. On her journey from the safety of Mother and Fathers' careful watch, she meets her first warrior: Fadingsun, who teaches her about the warrior code after a disgraceful display of self-importance on the part of the kit. In turn, an unknowing and frankly, highly-confused Fadingsun has given her the spark of her lifelong obsession: be the greatest warrior of RiverClan that will ever walk the earth. She was told a Story by Elderberrymint soon thereafter.
