Calamity looked a mix between irritated and relieved. "Did he now? Well then, I suppose you can. You see those things that look like purple spiky flowers? Those are thistles. They're weeds, nasty ones at that. You might wanna get you some gloves." Her face was more tired today, and she seemed secretly happy for the help. Still though, she worried about Scarlett pushing herself too hard, and was going to make sure she kept an eye on her.

Scarlett shrugged and walked over to the garden shed. She felt her strength starting to wear out but she pushed herself. You're so pathetic! You can barely walk 10 ft without getting tired!! she scolded herself. She walked into the shed and started searching for gloves. (*cough* Pheonix *cough*)

He snickered and shook his head. "You're a funny girl... I like that." He took a step closer, only to freeze when he heard Calamity snap at him. "Aww Hell, naw! You leave her alone you stupid @$$ Motha ******!" She had made her way over there and had grabbed him by his ears. "And stop being such a useless piece of sh*t and go do somethin productive!!"

Calamity dragged him away and came back, but halfway to the shed, she bent over and had a coughing fit. Before anyone could react, the fit had finished, and she was wiping something away from her face and moving again. "You ready Scar? We gonna pick some carrots later too if you up to it."

Concern was a clear picture on Scarletts face. "Maybe you should go in and get some rest...." she said warily, knowing the spitfire would just say no. She began tugging the thistles away, glancing at Calamity every once in while.
