Scarlett grinned a bit and said in a low voice, "Maybe a bit of both..." She snapped her head to the sound of Blake's yelping and laughed. "Trouble with barnyard?" She said laughing.

'Lake got thrown off as she said it, and managed to scramble away and over the fence. He was wiping his hands on his jeans and glaring back at it as he came up to her. "That thing is evil. Did you hear--" It roared like a dragon in victory, it's long tongue flying out as it shook itself violently before going back to grazing. He jumped at the sound and narrowed his eyes, whispering "eeeeviiiilll..." At it again.

He tried to pull some of the thistles out, but several just got stuck to his hands. He looked up helplessly. "Well, I've been told I'm a good listener... I can cook. Um, I specialize in being the comic relief... Uh, I'm fairly strong --OH-- and I know how to ride a killer demon-goat! I stayed on a whole fifteen seconds!"

Finally giving up on taking them off of himself, Blake started to help pick the other ones, and realizing that he should probably not use his bare hands, he went to the shed to get gloves.
