Map Contest

The staff is looking for a new territory map to take place of our old one, here:

Though a good portion of the map is still accurate, there are several changes that need to be made. Unfortunately since Dust hasn't been around, it's difficult to make these changes without going outside the current style of the map - and I would prefer to not ruin it!

Things to Keep in Mind:

The map needs to display the current layout of the Clans!

ShadowClan has expanded and relocated since the map was last updated.

The Waterbarn is now the Mourning Ruins, a burned down structure that consists of rubbled charred wood and stone walls. It also has several new locations, found within the ShadowClan roleplay category.

The camp has also been moved to a gorge, with the training grounds now cliffs above the camp.

ThunderClan territory has also been expanded and many locations have also changed (look in the roleplay category for them!) alongside the camp being moved. The camp is in a meadow with a willow tree.

RiverClan and WindClan don't have many changes from Dust's version of the map. Preferably, the snaking river that separates the other Clans from RiverClan should remain.

You have artistic liberty on how the map is formatted and some of the surrounding areas of the Clans, including the location of the Thunderpath/Twolegplace, Starcave, and Outskirts. You are not obligated to keep the format Dust has.

When placing locations, make sure to name them on the map!

Avoid defining the boundaries!

While you can label camps, it'd be appreciated if the version you sent did not include the the borders being clearly defined! We have roleplay areas for all borders as a convenience, and clearly defining them is not possible while respecting those areas.

This is a contest for fun! Enjoy yourself and the maps other people create.

Also please don't feel like you need to be a master artist to do this - we look forward to all submissions regardless of your experience! As long as your map is legible and has most if not all the locations, it's wonderful.

Submissions

To submit your map, send the map over to MAP CONTEST in a private message or email them to support@warriorcatsonline.com.

You are free to share your maps publicly, but they will not be counted for submissions if they're not sent to either locations.

Prizes

The winner will become the new official territory map!

In addition, winners will receive an exclusive award, their choice of a shop card, and 20,000 Koins.

Deadline

The contest will end December 1st @ 11:59 PM Eastern Time.
