Bronwyn had fallen asleep, snoring quite loudly as they drove. When the car stopped, she woke up, watching Samantha check what was wrong. "Where are we gonna get more?" she asked.

She sighed. "I don't know, we're nowhere near a gas station, I don't know where we were even heading! Hope you enjoyed your nap, cause I guess we are walking to shelter. Unless you want to spend the night in this car." Samantha seemed frustrated at this. The apocalypse has made her more angry and snapped more often. Depression and anxiety and the fear of her death at every turn made it hard to do things that enjoyed her.

Samantha yawned, her adrenaline that she had no idea had came, had faded and she felt really tired. Her adrenaline was usually always pumping. It was hard for her to relax. She's always on edge.

She didn't realize her hands were shaking until she reached an abandoned house and grabbed the doorknob, the doorknob rattled under her grip. Entering the house she made sure it was clear and collapsed on the ruined couch in the living room. Samantha glanced at Bronwyn for a moment, yawning again and turning to face the ceiling, hands on her belly. Her guns stayed uncomfortably behind her back and on her belt. She was sweating...

She let out a low groan and faced the couch, closing her eyes. Dang, she was so tired...

As Bronwyn followed her inside, she found herself to be concerned about Samantha's current state. She stared at the older girl as she settled on the couch, frowning, and said, "Take a nap or something. I'll keep watch."

Samantha scrunched her eyes for a second and sat up. She wanted to sleep, oh she really did, but she knew that sleep made her vulnerable. She won't be able to know what's happening if she sleeps. And that scared her. Sleep was hard for her. And Bronwyn wanted her to take a nap, saying she would keep watch.

Her body didn't let her mind protest. Samantha found herself lying back down, yawning again and shivering slightly. Her clothes were torn and she felt cold. Her eyes drifted close, and soon she was out like a lightbulb, snoring quietly and slightly drooling in her sleep, resting on her back, her head on the armrest of the couch. She took up the whole couch. Death laid at the end of the couch and slept there.

The night passed basically uneventful. Some zombies came by here and there, but there was really no danger.

Samantha slept the entire night and even when the sun rose and it's rays went through the broken boards and shines in her face, she still sleeps. And she's in such a deep sleep that she didn't move either. Death was awake soon after that and checked on Bronwyn.
