Eaglekit heard a loud "Eaglekit, if you are here, step forward!" It was Grousestar. No, not now!
"Sorry guys, I completely forgot, it's my apprentice ceremony today! This is terrible timing!" But if he was late, he would be held back by a moon. He had to go. "Should I go?" He asked his playmates . Snowkit looked at him solemly, and nodded. "Thank you" He said gratefully.
He ran out into the clearing, and towards the ceremony.

Eaglepaw bounded into the nursery to look for his playmates. "Snowkit! Bellkit! Skykit! Thunderkit! Hello?!" He say down to wait for them, and shuffled around on the ground. He couldn't believe he was an apprentice now. Would he still be able to visit his playmates? He shook the idea out of his head. If course he would be able to! He would go to the nursery every day after training of he could help it. He continued to wait.

Skykit was a little annoyed that a apprentice was wanting to play with her and her siblings especially since they where not great friends but she still didn't want to be mean. "Hi." She said with a little bit of growl in her voice.

"Oh! Hi Skykit!" Eaglepaw noticed the she-cat in the corner. " I'm just here to say that I'm grateful for having friends like you guys as a kit. I never really had any...friends. " He glanced at Skykit and stood up. "If you need me, I'll be in the apprentice den. See you later!" He turned around slowly and started to walk out of the den.

Eaglekit noticed Skykit following him, but he didn't try to say anything. He knew cats sometimes hated when he talked too much.

Bellkit followed Eaglepaw, and finally caught up to him. She gazed at him admiringly. Then, she gazed at her paws shyly. He was curtainly a very handsome tom. She broke into a purr, and nuzzled his jaw. "Congrats Eaglepaw!" She mewed, tail swishing. "You think we can still be friends, or maybe..." She faltered. Would he feel the same as she did? Ever since they were younger, she had had a crush on the brown tom. He was kind, loyal, playful. Eaglepaw was so happy! They would be joining him in half a moon! "Yay! I hope we can train together. That would be great" he purred. Eaglepaw fluffed out his fur and walked beside Bellkit. "Well, for some reason my mentor just hasn't shown up yet, so I'm going to ask if I can do some training with the other apprentices." He explained. He was so excited for Bellkit and the others to become apprentices! It'll be just like old times! He purred again.
