The tom gave a swift, quick nod before digging his claws into the stinking fox. The disgusting smell overwhelming his senses as he wanted to recoil. He forced himself to keep fighting and move on.

Hawkthroat's fur was slowly starting to get coated in blood. The fox's and his own. He bared his sharp teeth at the mangy canine, feeling its hot breath blowing at his fur. Raising a bloodied foresaw, he swiped at the canines muzzle, hearing it let out a loud howl of rage as red liquid splattered onto the dirt below. It howled one last time, before turning tail and running.

This made the tom growl with triumph. That would be able to prove Blazestar wrong of choosing that bee lover for a Deputy. He just scoffed at the thought of Tidalriver. Why would Blazestar pick him instead of himself? It just made his blood boil at the thought. Spitting out some blood that tasted like rotted fresh-kill on his tongue, he turned at the bloodied cats before him. "Let's head back to camp and tell Blazestar about this. She should know." His tone was low and cool. Sounding like pure ice as they slid off his tongue. Turning around, the tom started to make his way back to camp, the tip of his tail twitching as he didn't await for Tidalriver's response.

Shoreflame wabbled and hobbled after Hawk, struggling to keep up. Soon he lost sight of the cat, and his vision began to blur. He fell, his numerous wound staining the ground. After a moment, he got up again and followed Hawkthroats scent to camp. He then passed out in front of the med den, breathing shallowly, and spreading a puddle of red beneath him
