The tom shot a glare at his brother. It wasn't his fault he was annoyed, it was his stupid over-wired brains. He sighed and blinked his eyes slowly.

Sootkit, you have reached the age of six moons and are ready to be apprenticed. From this day forward, until you earn your warrior name, you shall be known as Sootpaw. Your mentor will be Wolfeye [ @leopardstrike4]. he turned to Wolfeye.

Wolfeye, your mentor trained you well, I am trusting you with this apprentice. Train her well. he said in a meaningful tone.

He turned to the rest of the Clan, Alright, dismissed! he growled, jumping to the clearing floor.

Heatherpaw got ready to leap off her branch. "Sootpaw!" She chanted the name once before leaping and landing on the ground. She padded to the medicine cat's den and spotted Fernstar. "Hello Fernstar. I saw you looked a bit tired back up there so I assume that's why you came. Have you had any bellyaches, a sore throat?" She meowed, checking Fernstar over. She was still the med cat apprentice but she had learned a lot over the course of the past 4 moons.

Foxshadow smiled. So young and so lively. "Heatherpaw would go get some basic herbs?" She asked, turned her amber orbs to look at Heatherpaw.

He shook his head, Just a pounding headache and little to no sleep. he said. He wished he could sleep for at least an hour, but his head made him do otherwise, forcing him to sleep only about five minutes a night.

Foxshadow nodded. "Heatherpaw, go get me some Feverfew, will you?" She asked the young apprentice, flicking her ail to hurry up.

Heatherpaw nodded to her mentor and listened to Fernstar. "Poppy seeds will help with that. They'll help you sleep." Heatherpaw mewed, heading to the herb storage. She picked up an herb leaf and dropped some poppy seeds into it. Holding the corners of the leaf in her mouth, Heatherpaw headed back to the other two and placed the leaf next to Fernstar. "I don't remember how many seeds your supposed to eat." She mewed sheepishly.
