The tom cleared his throat again. Ashpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code, even with your life? he said. He was happy when he heard that Ashpaw was ready for his naming ceremony. Another cat who could serve the Clan as a full warrior! Or in this case, medicine cat.

He nodded,his scarred muzzle opening to speak. I do. Simple words at least,it was just "I do" .The same for everyone at some point in their lives,Medicine cat or warrior.
