"Good," Whitecloud approved. "Now, when you attack me, use your back legs to give you power when you leap. Try not to look at the place you'll be attacking, or else I'll be able to defend myself more easily. Ready?"

Ripplepaw didnt nod, he pretended to be distracted, looking at a leaf. Then he leapt at his mentor out of the blue

Whitecloud was completely surprised by this attic. She yowled as Ripplepaw nearly toppled her over. "Wow!" She panted, tying to regain her balance. "Nice job!"

Ripplepaw backed off, smiling. "Thanks." He mewed

Whitecloud nodded sharply. "Alright," She meowed. "Now, let's see how you can do with the front paw strike. It's a simple move. What your going to do is go at your opponent and strike your opponent in the face with your paw, hence the name. This way, they'll be stunned and temporarily be down. Depending on the height of the cat, you might have to go onto your hindlegs, like you will for me. Then you dart out of they say. Questions?"

Whitecloud stumbled back. Once she regained her balance, she nodded her approval. "Good, good. This time try doing it multiple times."

Ripplepaw reared up again, and threw 3 swipes at his mentor

Whitecloud had expected him to get back in position, but he just went and swiped at her. "Oh!" She fell into a sitting position, stunned.
