It wasn't her mother, but it would be enough. Mustering up her strength, Rosepaw shifted closer to the queen, pressing into her soft gray fur. It felt nice to be fussed over, a feeling that she rarely got - it meant that she was important, surely. However, she couldn't really focus on that with all of the pain coming from her stomach. And I'm going to scar from this, she thought, a chill running through her body. It may be on my underbelly, but it's there. I'm ruined. With a small whimper, she buried her muzzle into her front paws.

SprucePaw opened her eyes, she immediately realized it was morning. She bolted out of the den probably stepping over some apprentice's tail. "Sorry!" she called just in case the energetic she-cat did step on an denmate's tail. She ran as fast as she could towards SilentMew. "Hey, hey, hey! Are, are, are, we, um, um going to, to, to, um, um, um train with, with, with BirchPaw?" @Pancake (open for the tail stepping thing! its only a small encounter though)

The apprentice breathed a sigh of relief as Puffinhop seemed to calm down. Her feathery fur was all ruffled now from the brief dash to the den entrance and back and she looked quite a mess but didn't seem to mind.

"Well that's not very nice." she replied. How would they feel if they got slapped whenever they were panicking? She certainly wouldn't have liked it. "My mom would always do that - give us some wet moss to suck on - when we were all in a fuss as kits. IT just... works I guess."

Wishpool didn't normally argue, but now she almost had to. Why don't we just kick him out? she mewed to Featherwhisker. That way we won't have the guilt of killing a cat who isn't fighting. @Mumble
