The grey and white she-cat flashed her amber eyes in the direction of another cat. Sniffing the air, she identified the cat as... What was the word, Clan Cat? Yeah, Sky...Clan. something like that. Ash stepped through some brush, being sure to create enough sound for the other to hear her and not be startled. "Um... Hello? My name is Ash, are you one of those SkyClan cats?"

"Skytail, the SkyClan cat... In SkyClan territory. That's a lot of Skies." Ash observed calmly. After shaking out her fur, she sat down. "Skytail, I would like to join you and your... Clanmates? Yes, clanmates." Ash tilted her head. "Well...I mean, if it is okay with your... Lead....leader?" Leader sounded right, but Ash was still wanting to make sure she was 100% correct.

Eggpaw stopped next to Fawnpaw, huffing with anger. “It’s not fair is it! Why can’t I be eggstar? Is there something wrong with an apprentice being a leader?” he whined. “well I’d be a good leader.” he muttered grudgingly. He turned to Fawnpaw. “Don’t you think?” he asked.
He looked at the fighting cats meekly. “Leadership is all the rage now it seems,” he continued, gazing into the sky. “Yet.. I think i could be a medicine cat apprentice.” he meowed, closing his eyes. “How about you?”.

SkyClan A Long Legged Brown Speckled She-cat.
FawnPaw flinches as the tom plopped himself down beside her… As he rambled about nonsense, she had to try her hardest to not call him any mean names… The more he continued to speak his mind, the more brain cells she lost… Was he serious right now…?
As he started speaking about the medicine cat position, every bad thought left the mollys head and her eyes began to light up. The usually quiet she-cat began to speak… “I…” she began, slightly hesitant with her next few words… “I w-would real-l-lly lov-ve t-t-to l-learn-n m-m-medicine…” She began…
“I…” FawnPaw gulped, “I l-l-lik-ke h-help-p-ping others…” The long legged apprentices voice was basically a whisper… it was audible but just barely. “A-and-d I like l-looking-g f-f-f-f-for herb-b-b-bs…” She looks to her paws, embarrassed with her messed up speaking pattern… You could see that she had passion for the position, even though she didn’t know much about it…
Leadership was not Haywing's style. Still, he could not stop the image of him standing there, fresh from the moonstone with his nine lives. Then he thought of how bad a leader he would be, and another image flashed up, one of him standing there, while everyone starved. Nope, leadership was not for him.

Ash looked thoughtfully at a leaf on the ground not too far from her. "Well, my reason.... There are many. First, I've heard about you, and think it is very smart to live in a group. Get that 'safety in numbers' mentality. Second, I know a lot and could help around. I can hunt. I know quite a few herbs, although I am still learning a few things. No cat knows everything. Third, all my life, ever since my Mother died, it's just been me. I want to have family and friends that I'm there for, and who are there for me." Ash concluded. Her soft amber gaze flitted to Skytail's face.

Eggpaw blinked with interest as the cat started to speak. Well, stutter was the right word. He flashed her a smile. “I know right? All the herbs smell so nice!”he laughed, tail flicking. “Maybe we can go Herb-collecting sometime together!” he suggested, eyes shining. It was good to share the interest with someone else too. He purred, as he saw the cat flush with embarrassment. “No need to be embarrassed. It’s cute how you get flustered!” he meowed, playfulness dancing in his eyes.
FawnPaw grew even more flustered as he spoke… No one has ever dared call her cute before… She had a new feeling inside of her… The speckled Molly gave him a nod, for she was too embarrassed to respond with words of any kind… Cute, she thought, EggPaw thinks I’m cute… As the wheels spun in her head, her cheeks grew more and more red… She began to giggle nervously…
