HarmonyBlade kept his breaths short and quiet as not to disturb Cherrypaw the mouse. There wasn't really any wind in the cave but there was, however a small breeze. Cherrypaw heard his whiskers brush the rock and she shot out of her hiding place, redclaw and icepaw were still circling each other when icepaw darted in to give redclaw a blow on the head he ducked and leaped at her bowling her over with his size and strength

The lovely she-cat glanced at Bushhunter, wondering why she wanted to know about her kittypet parents. "Well, my mother was always irritable, though I think that was just the hormones of being pregnant constantly... She was really sweet. My kit siblings were too young to really show personality, and I never knew my father," she said, pain in her voice. She couldn't remember much about her family anymore. "What about your family?" she asked, trying to get the topic off of her. Besides, it'd be fun for her to know more about the cat she was helping to groom.

Bushhunter felt a twinge of pity for the she cat who was grooming her, and had been- well...tolerant of her for a short while. "Hm. I'm sorry, that's not...right." Bushhunter growled in her low voice. She looked back at Almondpelt with a concerned expression and sighed, wondering what other secrets the pretty she cat was hiding. She couldn't imagine Almondpelt wanting a mate and kits. She didn't understand why anyone would want a mate and kits. Kits were loud, and toms- toms were just horrible. She hated them. All of them. She didn't understand why anyone would fall in love with such an arrogant gender...and she definitely knew that she wouldn't...anytime in the near future, at least. "My family?" Bushhunter sighed, remembering the memories from her past. She wondered if she should tell Almondpelt everything...why not. She won't judge. And if she does, I'll claw her stupid face off. Almondpelt thought, her hues snapping with the familiar stubbornness from before. "Oh, well...my Mom was always shouting at my Dad. And my Dad was always...yelling at my Mom. They were always fighting, never happy...and then my Dad just left. He left my Mom and me, and my brother. My brother couldn't handle it. He got mad at Mom for getting mad at Dad, and...he left. I don't know where he is now. Mom had a nervous breakdown, she's dead now, but..." Bushhunter's voice trailed off and she stopped speaking. She didn't need to tell Almondpelt every single detail. She didn't want to. She was scared to, to be honest...but what was there to be scared of? She wasn't sure.

Almondpelt's ears pinned closer to her head at Bushhunter's story. "I-I'm sorry. I didn't mean to bring up such terrible memories... Well anyway, let's get back to this pelt, shall we?" she asked, trying to be happy again. There was a small hint of hesitation in her voice like she was still upset about what the two she-cats had just spoken about, but it was hardly noticeable. She put a paw up onto Bushhunter's shoulder and lightly stuck her claws into the other she-cat's fur, careful not to touch the skin underneath. She then slowly and gently dragged her paw down along the fur, freeing any tangles in her claws' path. After doing this a few times over the entirety of Bushhunter's pelt, she was finished. "Wow, Bushhunter, you look so beautiful with your fur groomed!" she exclaimed, all but forgetting about their earlier conversation.

"Whoa whoa whoa! Careful there!" HarmonyBlade called to his startled apprentice. Then added embarresedly; "hey, well not all hunts are successful, not the best example I know. But now you try. Don't worry if you don't get it first time." The ginger Tom licked her behind the ears comfortingly.

Sorry, never mind.” he didn't mean to ask it, but it was just the way he was; curious. He liked to ask questions, and she probably wouldn't have mentioned it unless she wanted him to ask, so he didn't feel too be for asking. “I can imagine.” he laughed. He liked to be around others, but he still somewhat preferred to be able to be alone whenever he liked.
